OAproda 2 Pack Fully Decoded NB-13L Battery with Rapid Dual USB Charger for Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II, SX720 HS, SX740 HS, SX730 HS, SX620 HS, G5 X, G5 X Mark II, G7 X, G7 X Mark III, G9 X Mark II

I am using these in a Canon SX720. These batteries so far are a great buy, getting two comparable capacity batteries (and a charger) for the price of one OEM battery without a charger. Battery meter works properly, and the camera gives no error messages from these 3rd party batteries. OEM Canon Battery: 3.6V, 1250mAh, 4.5Wh OAproda Battery: 3.7V, 1500mAh, 5.6Wh Similar to a 3rd party battery I had for an older camera, these seem to have higher capacity than the OEM but function similarly or slightly less. I tested these batteries vs the OEM with non-stop video recording at 1080p, 60fps. The results of each test, in MM:SS as follows: OEM: 97:23 Oaproda Battery 1: 94:06 Oaproda Battery 2: 85:00 Charge Time (2 batteries, 2.1A charger): 2h 15m. This charge time is equal to the Canon AC wall charger for one battery, and about an hour slower than charging the battery in the camera through USB. -------------------- Edit: Batteries worked great on a 19 day trip, but I had one in my back pocket which I accidentally sat on and broke with the grey tip separating from the battery body. On this trip we took tons of pictures and videos, and even on the heaviest days, we only used 2 of 3 batteries (Camera OEM + one of these). I did just notice that on the grey part on the remaining battery is also a tiny bit loose so that might be an issue in the future. It looks like I can still charge one battery with the dual charger. Also note, the USB cable that comes with this is a charge-only cable, so keep that in mind if that might be an issue for you. -------------------- Edit 2: I have another trip coming up so I needed to replace the broken battery, and the other one that will be broken eventually, with a new set of these batteries. Unfortunately, you can't buy one Oaproda battery by itself, or two without a charger, so I bought the two battery set from this link (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06WLHDWG7/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Exact same batteries, cheaper charger I don't need, but with a slightly lower price so I could save a few bucks. I emailed Oaproda about this two-battery-only policy, they apologized for the inconvenience but they don't sell singles, and gave me a $10 Amazon credit towards a new set. Here's an update to my previous review with charge times again at 1080p, 60fps. Charge times taken from the OEM battery that sat idle for 5 months with half-ish charge, depleted, charged to full, then depleted noting record times. Oproada batteries were depleted from new in box, charged full, then depleted noting recording times. Regarding the second battery, since my original testing yielded the same drop in battery life, it could be due to the camera being warm from constant recording. 1080p, 60 fps OEM: 93:28 Oaproda 1: 91:32 (sat overnight, depleted in morning) Oaproda 2: 85:05 (sat overnight and through day, depleted at night) Charging times and methods are the same as the old batteries.

I ordered this with my Canon SX740 HS and it IS fully ENCODED and works just fine in the camera! For the same price as one OEM Canon NB-13L battery without a charger, you get TWO extra OAprada batteries that work just like an OEM Canon battery along with a Dual Battery charger! Can't beat that deal!! The OAproda batteries can also be charged with the OEM Canon 2B-2LC charger that came with the camera! With the battery that comes with the camera, that'll give you a total of THREE batteries to work with!! So this deal is definitely WORTH it! For the same cost of one extra Canon OEM NB-13L battery, you instead get TWO extra OAprada fully encoded batteries along with an OAprada charger that can charge two OAprada batteries at the SAME TIME! A USB to Micro-USB charger cord does come with it, but there is NO wall plug/AC Adapter for it! In my case, I used my wife's AC adapter that came with her iPhone. If you don't have one, you'll need to get one to use it. They, fortunately, do not cost very much! My only wish is that the USB to Micro-USB cable that comes with it was slightly Longer! But you can easily buy an extra generic one!

Very convenient as I can take it camping and recharge my camera batteries from a $15 li-ion USB portable battery or from my car. Bad part is after taking about 100 photos on my camera, my camera came up with an error asking if the battery was a Canon encoded battery. That error comes up every several photos and I keep saying yes to the question. But I am wondering if I can keep using these new batteries. I have the exact same batteries that are 3 years old and they never gave me any trouble and work as good as the battery that came with the camera. I am not sure what causes this problem. Perhaps it is due to the increase battery capacity compared to the Canon battery. I deducted one star because of the error message but still gave it 4 stars because the 2 other identical batteries I bought 3 years ago still work like new and the charger is very small and portable compared to the Canon charger that came with the camera.

The charger arrived on time and properly packaged. I've charged the batteries but have yet to use them fully. The batteries properly fit my Canon G7X Mark II. So far everything works great, the charger is compact and easy to use and the batteries charged within a reasonable amount of time.

Batteries are necessary for photography and video, having extra means never missed photos. The charger is USB, charge anywhere, no need for AC mains. Charger is slim and fits in camera bag and charges 2 @ the same time. Battery Life same as original CANON NB-L13 but half the cost. 2 Battery covers included. Change time is quick 2 batteries on 2.4A USB charger in less than 2 Hours. Update 2021 - This is my second purchase, got the last set in Nov. 2020, still keeps charge long time. OAproda makes a great product.

These batteries don't seem to last as long as the Canon batteries during a photo shoot, however, the price is certainly fair for two batteries plus a dual charger. A single Canon battery costs about this much without a charger. I might update this review at a later date if warranted.

I bought this for a Canon G7X Mark ii. Likes: price, USB charging Dislikes: camera would not accept the battery I price was definitely right for 2 batteries and a charger. Unfortunately every time I put a battery in the camera it would display a message "battery communication error" and if I clicked used it anyway then the battery meter would not work, and if I clicked don't use the camera shut off. I returned the battery and charger. I guess I'm paying full price for Canon brand batteries.
