Since I started working from home, I needed a headset with a strong noise-cancelling microphone, especially with kids in other parts of the house. The Plantronics Voyager Focus UC (Poly) has been outstanding. The mic does an excellent job filtering out background noise. We even went through a home remodel this year, and I asked coworkers on calls if they could hear the loud banging and construction sounds—they couldn’t hear anything at all. That alone sold me on this headset. Audio quality is clear, the dual-ear design helps with focus, and it’s comfortable enough to wear for long meetings. Reliable, professional, and extremely effective for noisy environments. Highly recommend for anyone working from home or on frequent calls.

I ordered this Plantronics headset about 2 years ago for our business. Now that we hired another person, it was a no brainer to get a 2nd set. I had tried out 8 different brands and designs back then, and these had the best sound quality, comfort, noise reduction out of all of them by a long shot. Great quality product. I would, and did, buy again.

During COVID-19, I am working in a home office with my wife; we sit about 4 feet from each other. We are both consistently on separate conference calls, and we are both somewhat loud on the phone. As such, I bought this headset to replace the mono-ear headset I was using previously. While I typically prefer over-the-ear vs on-the-ear for active noise cancelling (ANC), I was looking for a balance between cancelling out my wife on the phone in my ears, and hearing my wife when she wants to get my attention. This headset has significantly increased my ability to pay attention to my call when my wife is on a separate call at same time. She is not entirely cancelled out, but I can barely hear her. Others on my calls have told me before that they can hear my wife, but nobody has told me it is overpowering my voice, or that it is interfering with our conversation. I can hear everyone on my calls clearly, and they have all told me they can hear me clearly as well. I also like that I am able to use this headset with both my computer and work cell phone, so that I do not have to physically switch equipment when calls come in from multiple sources. I was using MS Skype on my work computer, but I have recently transitioned to MS Teams, and the headset continues to perform well. I am also connected to an iPhone for my work cell, and the headset also performs well for that device. This version of the headset did not come with a charging stand, but did come with a micro-USB cord. I am charging the headset nightly, and the I am able to use the headset for 4 - 5 hours of calls each day without further charge. Plantronics also has developed an app that can be downloaded to a cell phone, to control additional features of this headset. Another feature I like is that music playing from the cell phone is automatically paused when I take the headset off, and played again when I put the headset back on. The headset is comfortable for an on-the-ear headset. Again, using them off and on for 4 - 5 hours each day, my ears are not getting tired. Being able to rotate the ear pads slightly helps with ensuring a comfortable fit. I suspect that if I were to have this headset on for 4 - 5 hours straight, that my ears might become a bit tired, but I do not think it would become unbearable. The band stretching over the head also provides a pad for comfort, instead of being simply plastic or metal; I appreciate this. If I were to provide any constructive feedback, I would like to have seen the Mute function tied to the position of the boom mic, such that the headset automatically goes to mute when the boom is up, and off mute when the boom goes down (no extra button). Instead, this headset has a small button on the boom to turn the Mute function on/off; the headset also has an option to verbally let you know when the Mute function is turned on/off. Overall, I would definitely recommend this headset for use, especially when in close physical proximity to other people that could provide additional noise challenges.

I have had this product for about a week. I am dissatisfied with it in every way possible. manly, it does not connect to my computer consistently. The connection sometimes just doesn't work and I have to futz around for 30 minutes to get it to connect. Usually when I don't have time to do so. I have to go back to the headset I meant to replace. 2nd, the microphone does not feedback your own voice back in, so you cant hear your own voice like you can hear the person you are talking to. I thought I might get used to it. But not so far. 3rd, the software updates fail, probably bcs of the connection issue. I just got off the phone with tech support and they told me its not working and I should return the product at the point of purchase. WASTE OF MY TIME.

I bought this headset for meetings and am surprised by the wonderful design of this product. It's very comfortable to wear this. The buttons are well laid out and easy to touch but will not trigger unexpectedly. The call quality is quite good. People on the other side can hear me loud and clear. The ANC is a plus. It helps me focus more on the conversations (my office is quite a noisy place). The headset and the bluetooth dongle both can upgrade firmware through the Plantronics Hub application. I did it immediately after I charged it. The sound quality is also fit for pleasure like music or watch movies. I'm very pleased with the product.

The sound quality is excellent, it was super easy to get set up on my iPhone and my laptop. I can step away from either and still maintain connection. It is brilliant and light-weight for my sometimes 2 hour conference calls! Very easy to use adjusting volume, muting, answering calls and the battery has lasted an incredibly long time.

My husband and I both ordered these headsets to work from home. At first they were absolutely wonderful... great sound, great battery life, and noise canceling. After a year or so the quality went downhill... mine no longer holds a charge, it drops calls, the sound works one minute and then stops, and it started stating in my ear and now the people on the receiving end can hear the static. Of course it's out of warranty and I didn't buy the extended warranty. So needless to say I spent a little over $100 for a product that I can no longer use.

I have bought a couple of cheaper headsets before, but the sound quality was not very good and I had trouble understanding the caller. One was a Plantronics in-ear clip-on, but it didn't work well for me. For one thing, I need to have both ears covered. This unit is excellent in all ways. Comfortable, clear sound, long battery life. The noise cancellation works very well too. There are several controls that you have to learn to adjust by feel, but it's not too complicated and you'll figure it out.

Das headset funktioniert bei mir mit dem PC bei Verwendung von Skype business und dem Handy Iphone gleichzeitig. Je nachdem wer anruft kann angenommen werden. Beim abnehmen vom Kopf wird gemutet. Am Mikrofon ist auch ein kleiner Mute Knopf. Klasse. Sprachqualität ist sehr gut. meine gegenüber bestätigen auch eine gute Qualität. Verarbeitungsqualität ist auch sehr gut. Der Bluetooth Empfänger ist leider etwas größer. So ca 12 mm. und damit doppelt so lang wie z.B. Logitech Empfänger.Wenn man ihn am Notebook lassen will kommt es darauf an wo er steckt damit man das Notebook in eine Tasche stecken kann. aber geht zur Not. Sprechzeit ist völlig ausreichend für einen Tag und mehr. Ich höre damit keine Musik, dafür gibt es andere Kopfhörer. Tragekomfort ist auch sehr gut. Ich habe noch einen Jabra Evolve 65 welcher zwar als headset sehr gut ist (Sprachqualität und Funktionen), jedoch mechanisch unstabil. Da ist der Plantronics besser.

Je serai bien tenté de dire "oui" ! Casque commandé en remplacement d'un Backbeat Sense dont le micro captait un peu trop les bruits ambiants à mon goût. C'est vrai que la note est salée (je n'était pas DU TOUT prêt à mettre une somme pareille), que le design est moins sexy que le Sense, et que l'on perd la prise filaire 3,5mm. Mais pour le reste, quel bonheur : - son encore meilleur (des basses enfin présentes, un peu envahissante au début mais tout est rapidement rentré dans l'ordre), qui met une claque à mon Yamaha HPH-200, plus présent mais nettement moins fin - micro très efficace - réduction des bruits ambiants (légère mais appréciable) - connexion au PC via clé USB, simple et efficace - confort général - logiciel Plantronics Hub enfin appréciable (en tout cas moins limité qu'avec le Backbeat Sense) - les fonctions générales (micro ouvert, mute, etc...) - l'autonomie généreuse de la batterie Bref, un super investissement pour quelqu'un qui jongle entre conférences téléphoniques et sessions d'écoute Spotify prolongées ;-) EDIT 16/03/2018 : Plus d'un an que je me délecte de ce casque, toujours aussi excellent ! Depuis, une application de configuration Android bien pratique a vu le jour (PLT Hub). J'ai eu aussi le plaisir de constater qu'avec mon OnePlus 5T, le protocole AptX semble être de la partie ! Enfin, pas de problème de batterie, toujours + de 10h d'autonomie. Ce casque ne me quitte plus !

The product is great but the condition of like new is poor. There is obvious usage in the headset as it’s not cleaned. The sound is perfect and battery life is good. The price is good which is 100 cheaper than the new one with stand.

Na een aantal andere types uitgeprobeerd te hebben toch maar wat meer geld uitgegeven aan deze. Voldoet tot nu toe prima. Geluid is goed hoewel het wel wennen is dat je jezelf wat gedempt hoort praten (doordat je een koptelefoon op hebt met 2 kussens). De bluetooth verbinding is goed, hij pakt zelf automatisch het apparaat op waar geluid vandaan komt en maakt automatisch verbinding. Neemt zelfs gesprekken automatisch op als je hem opzet, moet nog uitvogelen of hier nog wat in te stellen is maar gaat eigenlijk vanzelf goed (een verademing na een Logitech apparaat waar je telkens weer eerst moest gaan pairen e.d.). Er zit een etui bij voor vervoer, maar geen oplader. Overweeg nog wel om de (standaard) oplader te kopen, omdat het anders wel steeds gepriegel is om hem op te laden (USB snoertje erin stoppen), en je hem anders ook steeds ergens op tafel moet 'neerleggen' tussendoor, waarbij je het microfoontje weer moet inklappen, enz. Update: inmiddels paar maanden in gebruik. Beste aankoop van m'n leven, dit scheelt me zoveel tijd omdat mijn handen vrij zijn. Ideaal voor saaie Zoom-overleggen waarin je wilt multitasken of wanneer je een klant aan de lijn hebt en beide handen nodig hebt voor muis/toetsenbord. Een minpuntje: plastic waar je de hoofdband 'inschuift' als je hem in het etui wilt stoppen, is aan 1 kant gebarsten. Ik heb er nu zwart tape omheen gedaan en verder geen problemen mee. Zou nooit meer zonder dit ding kunnen!
