Microsoft Wireless Controller - Volcano Shadow Special Edition - Xbox One

I normally don't like punching in "counter" reviews, but I feel I need to in this instance. Firstly, if you are buying this one since most of the "Shadow" series can be sold used 6 months later at the same value you bought it for and get a brand new controller, this one isn't as limited. There are, if I remember correctly, 5 times the stock. Buy it if you like it, collect all the Shadow controllers, and just need a different looking Xbox Controller (I'm one who prefers all my controllers actually look different for whatever reason). Secondly, these are of the same high quality of all Xbox Controllers. If you are having issues with sticky buttons, thanks because you opened a soda and didn't pay attention to the fact your thumb got goop on it or something similar and sugar got on your buttons. There may be a few exceptions (moving parts are moving parts so a small percentage is always going to have some issue), but the vast majority of "sticky button" issues are going to come from chips, soda, and pizza related issues. Try not to snack while playing, and always have a paper towel or wash cloth handy to wipe even condensation off you hands if drinking something and playing (gotta stay hydrated lol). As far this color scheme, it is a little weaker then a couple of the others (Copper, Dusk, and Shadow), but still looks great and doesn't move it down froma 5 Star rating. And even with what I said above with 5x the stock of some of the others, if you want one, don't wait too long to acquire this thing. They won't stay on shelves for very long. You just won't be able to "flip" these ones as assuredly as the Dusk model.

Got this controller after accidentally breaking my old one on a drop. It has worked as expected and it looks great. Feels good in hand when using.

After my fairly new controller was having issues after it was dropped, I reluctantly had to drop the cash for a replacement. I saw this controller and fell in love with it's cool color scheme. The reviews were very good, so I went and got it and I'm glad I did. It's very sleek, and smooth operating, and I've got some compliments on it already. Unfortunately, it has managed to hit the floor once (gotta keep them away from the edge of the desk) but it held up like the pro that it is. I'm very happy with this Volcano!

Product arrived on time, excellent appearance. This was a Birthday gift for my son, I'm no gamer, so I didn't test it prior. When he connected it to his Xbox 1, the (A) button intermittently wouldn't work and my son showed me that if he just held it in his hand on Minecraft, it would drift up without touching it. Also was unstable as far as common use, movement while resting, switched to 3rd person, would view straight up unless constantly adjusting the stick. Please do not buy used electronics from this seller, you just may ruin a kids Birthday. Bummer, he loved the color and the dang think looked brand new.

Good controller. Had one before they discontinued it and thought I’d get another. Packaging was rough but it was still sealed and the controller was in one piece. Saw a couple reviews saying it craps out over time so I tested it straight out of the box and it worked fine so time will tell. 4stars -1 for packaging.

I paid a premium for it because they stopped making it but it's been worth every penny so far. The comfort and feel of the controller alone sell it. Then pair it with this awesome Volcano paint job make it absolutely amazing. Looks great on my desk with my high end PC. Works like a dream in driving games and allows me to switch to Mouse and Keyboard for the shooting sequences seamlessly!

I actually purchased this by accident; meant to get the plain black controller BUT I love the way this looks! Like a sexy volcano with toggles and buttons, but it's cool to the touch. It works well, but it costs a bit more. I think it's worth it!

love the colors and didn't have any issues playing...except my play and charge kit never seemed to work that I bought with this. Didn't think anything of it, maybe the battery pack was fried, and then just the other day I noticed something was rattling and loose behind the right trigger and the trigger was sticking and squeaking so I switched to a different controller and the battery pack works perfectly fine. So, point I'm getting at is its a beautiful controller, but now looking at other reviews as well as my experience, it seems it was rushed through production or designed cheaply

Controller works great and i love the finish of the Volcanic Shadow edition. Wanted to go wireless with my PC and the bluetooth works, however it was a little confusing to set up thanks to microsoft. Go to bluetooth & other devices > add bluetooth or other device > 'Bluetooth: Mice, Keyboards, Pens...'. It will not detect automatically and do not select 'everything else' as that is actually for the controllers that do not have bluetooth and need the special adapter.

Excelente calidad y diseño de control, todo bien y a tiempo, se lo recomiendo muchísimo para pasar hora de diversión sin gastar tanto.

Very disappointed, paid for speedy delivery which took a week. Then when my son started to use it it kept disconnecting. Changed batteries and still the same. Plugged two of his other remotes with no problems. I feel cheated. Will not buy again 😡

Ótimo controle, triggers macios, botões e construção de excelente qualidade. Dá pra usar com cabo usb micro usb (tipo de celulares) direto no PC, não precisa nem de drivers. Ótimo para jogos de corrida, retros, etc. Recomendado. Peguei numa oferta e o preço saiu igual da versão branca comum. O vermelho é bem bonito!

Muy elegante el diseño del control, los colores, el difuminado. La calidad es la misma buena calidad de todos los demás controles de Microsoft. Buena inversión
