Actually, I would have been happy with a thin plastic mug but those are hard to find now.The whole purpose of buying this mug was to give me a container I could fill with gas station beverages and lift without the container collapsing and spilling all over me and whatever vehicle I was in. Family and friends don't appreciate splashing iced tea all over their car seats and floor. To keep everyone happy, I needed something like this.And this fills my needs just fine. The largest gas station beverage fits in this mug. It keeps the beverage cold for nearly 24 hours and it is sturdy enough to not collapse, pop open, and spill its contents everywhere. It fits into every drink holder I've put it in.Best of all, I can grip and lift it with my badly healed and damaged hand without wobbling or spilling.I haven't tried a hot beverage in it, partly because it's been hot, and partly because this is a bit large for hot beverages. You don't suck a 40 ounce iced tea down in seconds for hydration when it's at freezing the way you do when the temps approach the boiling point of water. Hot beverages get sipped and savored, so I may get a smaller mug for winter use.But this, this is my sweet summer mug.

I must’ve spent days on end researching to find the best water tumbler and also ordered two others to try out. This is the by far the best one for me for a few reasons. One it holds 40 ounces of water which I really like. It definitely keeps your drinks cold and I love the feature, where if you take the straw out the bottle seals tight. Plus the top is also a screw on which makes it very tight and non-leaking. It fits perfectly in my cupholder and the pink green one is very pretty. Now if I wanted to be really picky, I would say the handle is a little rough and could be a bit softer but it’s not horrible. The one thing I wish they could change is that the straw is so big. I like a thinner straw, but that is just my preference. I also for some reason have a hard time getting the last little bit of water out of the bottle with the straw. Still I would buy again and recommend to anyone and everyone. Oh, and I also had no problem keeping ice frozen in it.

I used this off and on for about 2 years. Maybe once a week. I've been using it a lot more lately and today the straw trap door broke off. So it lasted two solid years with no issue. I hand washed and had no issues with paint coming off. The cup is well made and sturdy.The only other issue I had with this cup is the straw is in the MIDDLE of the lid so dropping it down into a full cup of ice was problematic from time to time. Overall this was a great cup but I wouldn't buy it again because of the straw location.

Second one of these I’ve ordered. Keeps my drinks cold for 24 hours.

1 year of ownership. Handle broke off first time I dropped it. Was able to order removable handler and works great. Lid design screws on and it’s annoying to align with fixed handle. Less annoying now that I use removable handle. Otherwise a quality tumbler. 3 stars based heavily on lid design.
