Atlas Scientific pH Down Two Pack 250ml (16oz Total)

Don’t use it much, but when I need to, this stuff works extremely well!!! Accurate and slightly more powerful than GH (general hydroponics) ph down for sure!!!!

Just a heads up, I believe the morality is lower on this brand then General Hydroponic. I do not have a burette here at home to titrate it so I cannot confirm my hypothesis, but I can say I use the same water from the same source and I always ppm and pH prior to adding and buffers or acid/bases. I had to use several more transfer pipettes of this to get my pH to 6.5 then I had to with General Hydroponic.

Had to use 3 times the amount of any other products that I have used.

It's going to run out really fast so just know you're going to have to keep buying unless you get a gallon l

So I needed more ph down for my hydroponic system and decided to try this brand. So, it does work, BUT you have to use so much just to bring the ph down. Going back to my other brand, where a little goes a long way.

It works at bringing it down but you have to use a lot more than other brand I've used in the past.

Takes about 1/4 bottle to bring ph 5 gallon bucket of water from 7.7 to 6.5.If you enjoy blowing money buy this!!! It's not for phing your water, idk wtf it's for!!!

I posted a question about the ingredients of this product. It never got answered, and based on the label, I'll assume that phosphoric acid is the only ingredient. While this will lower pH, it will do nothing to keep pH balanced. Other more well-known products have other ingredients to deal with the way plants digest nitrates, so they do more than just bring the pH down - they help mitigate drift.I bought this because I thought it would be ecological & economical, but since the liquid is in a thick plastic bag and the solution isn't a professional hydroponic pH down, I regret my purchase. There's a reason this is cheaper than what's really needed!
