I purchased this case to protect a new external drive I bought for backing up data. There are quite a few cases available for external drives, both on and off Amazon, so I had to spend a little time researching several cases that would work for the drive I bought. The headline for the product indicates it is for Western Digital drives, but it can store drives from other manufacturers. I bought a 2.5" format 2Tb Sandisk Pro G Drive Armor ATD - the drive is made more "rugged" with a rubber bumper around the drive, so it is not as slim as some drives with the same storage capacity. The drive has advertised dimensions of 5.12 x 3.43 x .83 inches.I settled on the Lacdo drive because it had internal dimensions that would accommodate my drive, had additional internal storage for cables and memory cards, and had some color choices. I also liked that it was a hard case and could provide more protection. Pricing was competitive at $11 with other similar drive cases. I have had the case one day and it is as described. My new drive fits into the case, internal storage is ample and it appears that it would be possible to fit a small SSD drive or USB memory stick in the storage area as well as the cables.The width is as described in the listing on Amazon, but it is wider than some other cases and a little bulkier than I expected. This is not an issue for me as I do not plan to use the drive much outside of my home office and the case still fits easily into a backpack or briefcase. The only very minimal issue I have with the case is that zipper is not as good as I would like. However, the zipper works well, but I will be careful when using it. I have found that this is an issue will all kinds of lower cost products and that I generally am very careful when using zippers. The case is still a good product and I recommend it if you are looking for a case that has good interior storage space.

Nice hard case with a quality zipper plus a handy carry strap to help keep a secure grip. It has a net side to hold cords and an elastic to secure your drive. There is also a middle flap that has some extra cushioning bumps and a couple pockets for SD cards or Usb's. The weight is good the exterior cleans with a damp cloth and protects well. It's a great value for your money and help keeping your drive safe.

this case is as sturdy and stylish as it looks.. I like that the inside is white so you can see what's inside easier.... have had the case a long while, it has yet to get any wear and tear but I also keep it in a padded bag.... this will keep your external drive protected...

I bought this to keep my ipod touch and 10 ft cord in. Holds everything nicely and is a well made item and has a good zipper.

Carry my external drive everywhere for work and have had several softside cases that wear out or the zipper fails on after a few months of use! So far this case is great and is more solid sided than most. Ample space for all accessories to fit in the case that's related to memory storage products. Like it has a strap for grab and go instances at times. It was cheaper than several of the others purchased in past and made much better! Going to use a bit longer and replace other two I have if it lasts past 3 months at least. Would recommend as gift also.

I have been carrying my laptop back and forth to work for a couple of years now. When I needed to replace my old one, getting an external hard drive was the solution I needed. This little case is perfect for carting my work in progress back and forth wherever I travel to access from any computer that's handy at the time. It's very portable and durable for my hard drive, fits easily into any briefcase or suitcase, and has a handy carrying strap to wrap around my wrist if necessary. I expect it will be awhile before this one wears out and will certainly buy another one when/if it needs to be replaced.

A very sturdy hard shell case that perfectly fits a Gameboy Color. Also, plenty of room for some earbuds or charging cable.

I bought the adata ex500 external enclosure for a 2.5 hard drive and I started to search a really good carrying case for it, I found some cases but they sell them for Seagate or other well known brands so I decided to measure my enclosure and search for the interior dimensions in the product details and I found this one. I have to say that I wasn't 100% sure to buy it because it says that the weight is 3.5" and my enclosure is the same weight and I didn't want to run with the bad luck that it doesn't fit well, so I decided to take the risk and buy it and it was a really good decision because it fits tight but with a couple of milimeters extra and I have more length space because my enclosure is 4.8" and this is 5.2" and I like it because you can insert or pull out the enclosure smooth and the thickness of the enclosure is 0.8in and the interior is 1.2" so the elastic band keeps it in place. The case exterior is great and I feel that it protects well. Hope this helps!
