Best purchase I've made
This book is such a good text when working toward the CAPM or PMP. The PMBOK is great, but more of a reference point to me. This book is an easy read and gives you an easier read. I am thankful that I read this book because I passed my CAPM on the first try! Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to learn on their own or wanting something to make a PM class a little easier. Note: this book corresponds and references the PMBOK.

As an introduction it was fine.
I actually prepared for my project management exam with this book. I must say it is sometimes too beginner. I am pretty sure there are better options if you really think of focusing on project management practically. However, it is not a complete waste of time. It still added some value to the initial knowledge base. But don't rely on this book only.

PMBOK explained as a real case
A great explanation of PMBok, uses cases to make the understating easier. Clarifies so many concepts, helps the understanding on PM classes.

This textbook was one of the most enjoyable to read of any I’ve come across in post-secondary. This is not due to the content- just the author. She makes a pretty dry subject interesting and easy to get through.

It offers a comprehensive concept with cases throughout the book. I recommend to those with little or no knowledge of PM.
