Good for horizontal application as spring closure counteracts gravity where the free swinging tye would stay open. Spring force does not absorb too much of the fan flow. Easy to fit at end of the ducting just before the external louvre. Good quality and value considering.

Very well made, all dimensions correct, perform perfectly ( although I'm using it with AEG kitchen hood which in full trhotle pumps 700 cubic meters of air per hour, on lowest settings probably about 150 ) with it works perfectly.Spring holding back draft flap is quite strong, than if someone going to use it with not as such powerful units (like washing air dryers etc) might not be suitable, but it's just my guess, can't tell for sure, you need to baisycly try it.

Well made but simply not fit for purpose. The springs are too strong for either bathroom or kitchen extractors. With a lot of effort the springs can be weakened to allow for gravity to close the shutter when mounted vertically but not when mounting horizontally.

Well manufactured and might work for some application but won't open on my Bathroom extractor (inline fan 160m3/hr - 2500rpm - 20w) Opens about 60-70% on tumble dryer vent.

Bought to replace the plastic flap draught damper. It made too much noise in the wind. This item is well made and strong. Doesn't open fully with air pressure so I pushed one of the two springs back and out so only one is in use... The flaps still close but now they open with ease when the fan is on. Works really well and doesn't need to be mounted with a TOP position so you can't fit it wrong.. Great buy! I'll be getting another for my kitchen extractor

Fits perfectly and mostly does its job but as others have said the springs are too strong so I recommend removing one of them being metal no doubt its durable and haven't really noticed any noise the seal is good and its as simple as pushing it in

je suis resté 15 ans sans clapet anti retour au niveau de ma hotte, à devoir mettre du papier aluminium sur la grille et l’enlever à chaque usage. J’ai même l’impression que ma hotte aspire encore mieux qu’avant depuis que le clapet anti retour est installé, et évidemment je n’ai plus le froid qui rentre dans la maison. Je recommande

C'est un clapet anti retour en métal avec un joint en caoutchouc. Il est solide, bien construit et efficace.

Le produit n'est pas peinten blanc comme pourrait le laisser paraître la première photo. J'ai dû supprimer un ressort sur les 2 pour que le clapet puisse s'ouvrir au moment de la dépression d'air. Produit correct et fonctionnel.

Sehr gute Qualität würde ich mir wiederholen.
