Great little train to actually PLAY with
The media could not be loaded. Love it! We bought this to put around the Christmas tree since we knew our young child would want to grab at it, and didn’t want our actual model train damaged. The headlight and sound features on the remote absolutely delighted the kids, and this thing got TESTED. Our kids are not gentle drivers yet, but all 3 items still look and work like new even after being slammed, dropped, crashed, and even briefly submerged in a dog’s water bowl. We plan to put it out next Christmas too, but they’ll be playing with it until then! It’s compatible with Brio, Thomas, Melissa & Doug, and all universal wooden track, and the motor was strong enough to climb even the steepest hills they built. Button batteries in the coal car allow the coal to “flicker” when the wheels turn. There is no direct control for the flicker light other than the motion of the wheels.

Great remote control locomotive and caboose
The remote controls forward, reverse, locomotive light and horn. It runs great on “Thomas” wooden tracks. My 3 year old grandson loves the remote.

The train is very cute. The remote controller stopped working on the second day, but the company made good and gave me a refund

Has held up well to three-old play
Added to my grandson's wooden train collection and am pleasantly surprised with how well this battery operated engine has held up.

Grrat for a toddler BUT!!!
Is easy to assemble. Great for a toddler with adult supervision. One big issue. DO NOT HOLD THE ENGINE IN YOUR HANDS, and next to your hair, or child’s hair. My hair got stuck in the tire while I was trying to shut it off, because the tire kept going and therefore pulling my hair around. I had to cut that piece of hair😓. So be careful‼️‼️

These are great and the kids love them. The remote option is so neat!

Very fun (but loud!)
My three-year-old loves this addition to his wooden train set! Controlling the train with the remote is even more fun than using the buttons on the train itself, but the controls are a little finnicky in regards to changing direction or stopping the train with the remote.Be aware that it's super loud when it starts, but the sound turns off fairly quickly.
