What’s the warranty process?

Yes. It’s worth it. If you do the warranty online, you pay the $8 shipping and install it yourself. If there’s a Zagg location in a mall near you, they charge $8 install and the screen is free under warranty it that way. I have done it for 4 different phones and also a Switch. Highly recommend them above other brands. The quality and protection is great.

I purchased an apple screen protector but it does not prevent finger print smudges. do i need to remove apple screen protector prior to installing

My ZAGG screen protectors have always been applied directly to the screen of my iPhone. Each time the phone was dropped really hard the screen protector cracked and saved the iPhone screen. On average, most all of my phone drops have prevented screen protector cracks because I always have on board an otter box case protector going above and beyond the security of the screen protector. My iPhone looks like new underneath. 100% fingerprint protection can be obtained by not handling the phone after cleaning it, works 100% of the time until you need to use the phone again….
