I've ordered this for our newly purchased used Highlander that will be parked outside in a hot summer environment.I've had previously used poorly fitted sun shields that were way too small, or just didn't sit in the windshield properly. My purchase criteria was to find one that covered the whole windshield without any gaps.I ordered this sun shield based on the product description and the fact that it had various sizes. I input my 2008 Toyota Highlander in and it said the Large size would fit.I ordered this in the evening and it arrived the next day, so I was able to use it immediately. Overall, the sunshield did in fact fully covered the windshield in my Highlander. I was able to block out all of the sun light, except for a small patch by the rear view mirror. If there is one flaw, it is that there is not a cutout to go around the stem of the rear view mirror. So what happens is that you just have to push down the cloth where the rear view mirror stem goes and make sure to minimize the size of the opening to prevent any more light from entering the car. But that is a minor thing, considering the shield fully blocks the sun at the edges of the windshield. After using it, the car did still feel warm inside, but significantly cooler than without the sun shield.The sunshield also includes a little cover for the steering wheel. There is a flap at the top of the cover that you can slide over the top of the steering wheel. To be honest, it looks a little funky when the steering cover is installed and I'm not quite sure that little cover is all that functional other than advertise the brand of the sunshield. You could get away with not using it. The main benefit really comes from a well fitted sun shield that keeps the car cool, prevents sun damage to the top of the dashboard, and the effects of sun on the seats.Folding this shield can be tricky. I read the instructions, but you are better off watching the video on the Amazon product page. You have to fold the sun shield in half first (the right half and the left half), then with the two halves on top of one another, do the twisting thing. I was able to do it somewhat successfully, although most of the time I'm just going to take the sunshield, fold it in half, and throw it into the backseat.I wanted to order a sunshield for my other cars. However, it said that those cars (Camry, Lexus GS450h) also needed a six Large sunshield. I've seen some reviews from Camry owners that said the Large was too big and they ordered the Medium. I have taken this Large size sunshield and tried it on my Lexus GS450h. Although I made it fit, it was clearly a little too large. The vertical dimension was perfect, but the horizontal dimension (length) was too long. In this case, if you have a GS450h or a Camry, the medium size would be a better choice.

This Magnelex sunshade is a game changer! It folds down super small—perfect for stashing in the car door or seat pocket without taking up important areas of space or getting stepped on. Most importantly, it actually works—kept the interior noticeably cooler, even in the brutal Phoenix heat. Great product, great value!

Worked great. A bit larger than what I need however it fit and work. Definitely a must for dark interior.

This is a great sunshade. The size recommendations are wrong, though. My car needs XL rather than L, so I ended up buying two shades. The recommended size was too short and would not stay wedged into the windshield, and thus did not work. The bigger size works well. I do not have any trouble folding it up, and only a little trouble stuffing it back into its storage sack. I will not use the free steering wheel cover since the window shade keeps the sun off the steering wheel. My car is a 2025 Chevy Equinox EV.

I really like this sunshade. With the heat index over 100 for multiple days, it really makes a difference with the interior temperature and the amount of time it takes to cool the vehicle. The extra material allows me to "block" the corners and around the rearview mirror where the sunlight can "sneak in." The material is soft and pliable and the twist-fold is easy to manage. It is thin and easy to handle, but it is sturdy without being heavy or scratching the dash.

First, I want to say that I have ordered numerous items for my 2022 chevy equinox based on my Amazon Garage, and none of them so far have fit properly.I was expecting a shade that looked like the picture, the shade I received did not, it is too large, but it works. I ordered a medium and large. Returned the medium because it let in a little bit of sun and was too small by about one inch. The large however is too big and Im still not sure if Im goinf to keep it or try to find one that fits better, not a fan of how it folds up either.Overall for the price, I don't think its worth it, I'd honestly rather just try to find a fold up sun shade that is a bit larger than the standard size most stores sell. Will likely return this. Pain to open and close especially when its too big for my window.

I use this sunshade for my Chevy, and it’s definitely a big upgrade from the one I had before. It feels well made, and I really like the texture — not that flimsy stuff some others use. It opens up super easily and gives full coverage across the windshield, which helps keep the car cooler and protects the dash from the brutal sun.Folding it up is usually fine for me, but I can see how it might be tricky for some people — takes a little practice. Still, overall it’s been working great, and I’m happy with the quality and size. Good buy for the price!

I used the size guide provided for my 2019 Kia Sorento and ordered the large. It’s a little too big and have to put something behind it to keep the center where the circles overlap from sagging. With that being said, the sun shade keeps my car much cooler than not having one at all. It opens easily and is easy to put away once you figure out the folding. A bonus perk, this came with a sleeve to store the shade in as well as a steering wheel cover. It doesn’t take up a lot of space at all. I can easily slide it between the front passenger seat and center console.Over all I would recommend this sun shade.
