Waste of time
Purchased this part to support my 2020 Jeep JL Tailgate with a 35" spare and it rattled like crazy.. ended up putting the stock support back on. I would not waste money on this again.

Half fixed issue but causes noise
This is supposed to stop the tailgate from getting stuck. Yup, it helps that, but the noise it makes going over bumps! This is metal. That means no cushion. Get on a washboard gravel road and the first thing you go for is a 10mm socket to throw this thing out. Another mention is it should come with hardware as the original hardware doesn’t fit. Another mention is don’t throw out the original bolts because your going to need them after buying another stock part and replace it.
