I bought this fan when my NUC computer fan began to make noise and cause the computer to shut off shortly after being turned on. Being lazy and not wanting to spend money, I allowed this to go on for about a week before deciding the fan wasn't going to magically fix itself. After confirming the model number of the computer and comptability of the fans I was researching I pulled the trigger and ordered this fan. I watched a few YouTube videos on how to install the fan and then I began to perform the replacement operation with the dexterity of a drunken tree sloth. I damaged one of the cable connections during the disassembly process, but I was eventually able to McGiver a fix and complete the reassembly process. Now the computer is silent and the fan works like a charm. My only recommendation for anyone who is considering doing this is to be very careful removing the tiny cables from the motherboard during the disassembly process. This wasn't a difficult replacement but you can kill your computer if you aren't careful. And for God's sake - backup your files before you undertake this little project. If you screw something up you will regret neglecting this little step.

The bearings in the fan started to grind after two months. The fan that came with the NUC lasted two years. Of course, the failure occurs outside of the return window.

I figured out that the fan in my NUC was going south, so I ordered this new fan to replace it. It went in without a problem and works just fine.

Unit worked fine, quiet on NUC8i5BEH until a few days ago. If I had been really stressing my media server over the last 18 months I might understand but this fan shouldn't seize after a year and a half of light usage.

This was an exact match for the one that came with my 8th gen NUC (Delta brand). My old one started making noise, replaced with this new one and all is well. Easy to install, took about 15 mins to complete.

Tried to stick with OEM brand, but this could just be a clone with copied sticker. Doubting it's Delta now. Seeing other reviews with same short life. Garbage and waste of money paying double for supposed OEM. Save and get something less expensive or find another reputable seller. Would give zero stars if possible.

Did NOT last 6 months. Garbage Quality.
