Cablet 2.5 Inch SATA USB 3.0 HDD/SSD Portable External Enclosure for 7mm and 9.5mm, Tool-Free Design, Supports UASP Max 6TB

A very nice and sturdy case. No problems so far. All working good.

I’ve been using this Cablet 2.5-inch SATA SSD enclosure for over 3 months now. Overall, it’s a really good product. The build quality is quite strong for the price and it looks very sleek and premium. The SSD fits perfectly inside without any rattling, and it doesn't heat up at all. It’s also very lightweight and easy to carry around. I’m using it with Windows 11, and the connection is super fast and easy, honestly, it feels just like using internal laptop storage. The only drawback is the battery consumption. It draws constant power, which drains the laptop battery slightly over time. Even when my laptop goes to sleep, this enclosure stays on and keeps drawing power, unlike my mouse or keyboard which turn off completely. Because of this constant power draw, I am a bit unsure about what kind of internal electronic components they have used, and I have a slight doubt regarding the smart protection it used or long term laptop battery health. But looking at the price point, it’s a great deal and you can consider buying it without a second thought. Just remember to unplug it when your laptop is idle.

Great product for reviving your old hdd and ssds and id fairly priced I use it to store movies on my old hdd 2.5 inch is great and sturdy and the plastic quality is also good but the locking mechanism for hdd is ssd is a bit tight and you have to apply pressure to connect them for the first time and plastic is also great for the price and the product is also sleek and good in appearance and the Led is also great for showing the connectivity status and its max speed that I got was around 100 mbps and average speed is 80 mbps and can copy a 27 gb file in around 2-3 min

Works fine and speed is good. Good plastic body. They've provided extra sponge for support. I liked it.

Short Answer: JUST BUY IT. This review may seem sponsored but trust me its not. I have bought cases priced more than 500 and they come in really pathetic packaging, cable is weak, the quality of those cases are so bad and this one at just 350 comes in a such a good package that it feels like it should be costing around 1000rs or more.. The packing is superb, its so clean, it even comes with that clean plastic wrap around entire box that you get in high end phones and the quality of the case is top notch and it even comes with instructions. This is also an indication if you receive this case not packaged well then you will know you got some duplicate product instead of correct one.. The build quality is really good and bottom part of the case has tiny air vents which other cases dont have. Just note that the cable end which plugs into the drive will seem that its slightly out like you will see the metal portion of the usb cable end but its actually properly plugged in... Rest all speed, drive detection is all great.. I am seriously surprised how this case is going so cheap.. I felt slightly cheated for paying high amount for my other cases which are not so good..

Product is good

A solid budget-friendly choice for repurposing an old laptop drive, but with minor compromises. Durability & Protection: The enclosure is made of lightweight ABS plastic—not rugged, but adequate for everyday desk use. It offers basic shock protection for the drive inside, though dropping it from height could crack the casing. No rubber bumper or waterproofing. Connectivity: True USB 3.0 performance (tested around 300–400 MB/s with an SSD). UASP support is a plus. The port is micro-USB 3.0 (not USB-C), which feels dated but works reliably. Portability: Excellent—slim, pocket-sized, and weighs almost nothing. Slips easily into a laptop bag. Cable Quality: The included short USB 3.0 cable is functional but thin and stiff. It may loosen over time if bent sharply. Consider replacing it if you move the drive often. Installation: Tool-free and effortless. The slide-off cover clicks open, you insert the 2.5” HDD/SSD, and snap it shut. No screws or soldering. Works immediately on Windows/macOS.
