The commuter case is the ideal compromise of protection and size. I have dropped my phone many times, and it has never been damaged. My wife is very active, and she has the same case. She is rougher on her phone than I am. No matter how much abuse she gives her phone, the commuter case protects it and keeps it looking good.

Its an otter box. Full phone protection, expert fit and finish. Wish i had purchased this case before another brands case. Although my back glass is shattered from a 6 foot fall and a cheap case; this case holds the phone securely even with the back shattered I dont have glass pieces coming off the phone and its doing a better job protecting my phone than any other cases I've tried. Buttons are spot on. The ridge is approximately 2-3 millimeters around the front screen as well as the camera allowing for enough room to put screen and camera protectors on and not interfere with them when putting the case back on. Highly recommend for anyone with I-Phones.

The phone case was nice because it wasn’t bulky. I did last awhile, but the plastic part of the case can be easy to crack.

Been using Otterbox for years because of the great quality and results. Highly recommended. Never worry about my phone getting damaged. I would recommend a glass protector with it so your screen doesn't crack. The design feels normal without being overly thick. Great value for the money considering you won't need to buy a new phone if cracked or damaged. Easy to put on and take off though after too many times it does loosen up a bit.

Highly recommend!The why, I was leaving Costco and while I was loading up the truck my wife called. When we hung up I sat my phone on the top of my truck bed which is 5 foot high to finish loading my stuff. As I pulled out of the parking lot I heard something hit the asphalt and continued on to the road that is when I panicked and searched for my phone. It was no longer with me, all I could picture is a shattered screen I had no hope.I quickly returned to the parking lot and found it, not only was it not shattered but not a scratch and works perfectly. The OtterBox Commuter is a dependable everyday case—slim, protective, and practical. Ideal if you want serious drop defense without bulk. Just inspect yours on arrival and check the fit, especially around corners and port covers. A solid choice, but if you're looking for uncompromising durability, the Defender series might be better.
