Super easy to install and works like a charm. Having the gen hookup ready to go gives great piece of mind. Make sure you get the right one. I had to return my first order since I had the orientation of my panel mixed up.

Great Quality and easy install
This interlock kit is the way to go when hooking up a whole home generator. This kit fit my 200amp GE panel perfectly and was super easy to install.

Nice hardware
Beware of breaker configuration issue. The panels for which this is made can use both 1/2" and 1" breakers, so a double breaker can be 1" or 2" wide. Double 1/2" breakers cannot be used in the top positions, so if you are backfeeding through one of those you will either lose the top position or you will have a single 1/2" breaker that can only be turned on when you are backfeeding.

Interlock easiest to use when adding a whole house generator.
Interlock was easy to install if you are handy with a drill and fully understand the interlocks operation. In the case of the GE ( general electric) brand interlock, make sure you make a note how your main circuit breaker operates. When you are operating the circuit breaker it either turns on and off vertically ( up and down) or horizontally ( right and left). Make you order the correct kit for the main breaker "type". Of course, know that this is only a baby step in the process of providing your house with a back-up generator. You need to wire in an appropriate sized "generator inlet receptacle" outdoors that you connect your generator too. Of course all this has to be sized and overcurrent protected correctly. If you are not an electrician ...consult with one! As usual Amazon handled the entire transaction with the ultimate degree of impeccable service I have had with them for approximately 500 transactions.
