These were bought for Armageddon. I sincerely hope we never have to use them! However, they look and feel as if they’ll keep us alive, using the water from our stream.

This straw is an excellent idea, it’s very light and doesn’t take up too much space. When I think of 10-15 years ago where filter straws were the reserve of outdoors people with a bit of money to wield, this seems like a bargain. The straw itself is easy to use and keep maintained (just blow through after use) a good flow is achievable it’s not tedious to drink from. If the flow does require hard suction I found blowing through the tube until air issues from the intake the retrying made a world of difference. I am not convinced by the so called ‘bottle compatible’ connection. I couldn’t get it to work without tipping water everywhere. However I just poured it into a glass and drank (some bottled water can be suspect in India) It gave me confidence drinking from less reputable sources and we never got sick. I was very happy to have it, especially when we had a few days in the jungle with old RO processed water. I was half hearted with the purchase as it was a ‘last resort’ type affair. However I think I’ll be taking it on walks to the lakes, and climbing trips. It will also definitely come on other travel trips with me.

Great quality life straw haven’t used yet as it’s part of my prepping emergency kit. Have had other brands however this one is the best well worth the extra money

My, my. What can I say that hasn't already been said about the invention of the light bulb, the wheel and the internet. This product is truly life changing! I bought this for myself and all my life problems have gone away. I can finally go to my local lake and take a splendid sip out of the nasty cesspool. Goodbye one use plastic bottles. There's a new product that is here to stay. Very durable, lightweight, easy to carry and store. I don't need taps any more. So I ripped them out and replaced them with this. It has truly changed my life for the better. My family don't like my change in ways ,but my water bill is a fraction of the price. That's better than Family. Good buy. A highly satisfied customer!

ok aangezien jij dit leest , zoek jij lifestraw :) zoek niet verder , dit is wat je nodig hebt , geloof mij ik ben zeer kieskeurig en ik vind dit geweldig , iedereen MOET zo 1tje in zijn bezit hebben , ter komt een tijd dat dit meer waard dan goud gaat hebben ,

Looks ok, but the package leaves the mouthpiece on the Lifestraw unprotected. I would have preferred a sealed product, just to be sure its not tampered with or potentially dirty.
