Does the HD 206 headphones have a padded headband? I have an older 201 model which does but the image is not clear if it does for the 206.

I find these headphones very good value for money and good performance for the price. The sound level is exactly as I would expect, when I use them plugged into a tablet or I-phone, there is ample volume to spare. If you are attempting to drive them directly with the line level (100mv into 10K) ona a PC, then they will not work well as any typical headphones would not. They are designed to be driven with a low impedance source designed to drive headphones. Most sound cards have both line level and headphone outputs you may be using the wrong one. If you are using a Hifi Headphone output, then there must a be fault somewhere if they are not the expected volume. check all connections are firmly in place, particularly important if using any type of adapter to convert Jack size. EG: 3.5mm to 1/4".
