No spoilers just basic and I'll try to keep it short....maybe. This game is near on perfect! Been playing it since the day it came out, platinumed it and still playing. The story is thrilling with twists and emotion that makes you think about batmans actions and his fears, generally the story is similar to Nolan trilogy- that is by no means an insult! The gameplay is refined as much as city was compared to asylum (I'm leaving out any comparison to origins purely because... Well you know). Combat is smooth and challenging with more variety in enemies, while predator encounters make you strategise morethan the others with the inclusion of medics and drone controllers (there are more but I don't want to ruin it for You). The only slite negative of the game is the overuse of the batmobile, which is slightly ironic since everyone wanted to drive it since asylum came out. The car is great to drive and completes the batman power fantasy. The let down is the constant tank battles, this includes side mission content, which disconnects you from the wonderful story.Another area of nit-picking for me was the indoor areas of the game, they didn't have the same atmosphere as the previous games. I know this is because of the larger game map but it's still a little disappointing. The verdict here is that the game is a masterpiece for a conclusion to the arkham series, especially if you've been a fan since asylum and witnessed the evolution of rocksteady as they take hold of the batman universe and create a definitive chapter in the batman universe.I really hope that this helped if you are considering buying this game, if you do buy it enjoy!!*A quick summery of some of the aspects mentioned and a few missed.-The story is genius and epic by people who you know put love and devotion into the game.-The gameplay, masterfully executed in all areas, even the batmobiles battle mode segments.-The open world is beautiful and full of adventure long after the story is finished.-The voice acting is top notch, my favourite in particular was John Noble as scarecrow, he really captured the element of fear in his voice and tone.-The batmobile, though the weakest aspect of the game, is still really fun and enjoyable.-The side missions are enjoyable and have great variety.

The ultimate Batman experience.
If you're looking for an incredible story, jaw-dropping graphics, fantastic gameplay and a beautiful open world environment, this is the game for you.The environment is one of the most stunning I've ever seen - and I'm not exaggerating! Everything about it has been made for Batman and the Batmobile so you can get the most of out of it at all times. The graphics are truly next-gen, from the lightning down to the roads, you'll see what the PS4 can do and we're just at the beginning of what this console can do.The story is weaved together beautifully. Some of the missions are a bit on the slow side, but when you get down to the big events that move it forward, you'll see why this got an M rather than a PG13.Gameplay, ah, gameplay. Well, if you wanted a Batman game where you can do everything as the Caped Crusader, you'll be disappointed but that is definitely NOT a bad thing. The Batmobile fits seamlessly into this game, from the gadgets to the animations. It just works and trust me, when you're going full-pelt down a road and eject into full glide that can take you across the map, it makes everything worthwhile.I'm not going to ruin the story but this is a game that every PS4 owner should play. I know Rocksteady have said this is their last, but I hope that this series continues to push the boundaries of story immersion and gameplay investment.

An excellent game and a must buy for fans of the Arkham franchise!!!
Love this game, but I have to admit, the first time I played it, the tank battles proved to be very frustrating and my initial rating would have been a lot lower because of that. But when I played it on New Game Plus, I was more used to the mechanics of the Batmobile and found those sections much easier. The combat is more or less the same as before, but with several improvements which fans of this game should like. With the introduction of the Batmobile, you can even do takedowns during combat battles using it. In non-mission scenarios, the Batmobile is great fun and I am glad they added it. But some parts of the main story include very annoying and frustrating boss battles, which then made me wish they hadn't added it lol.Anyway, the story was good, but a little predictable in terms of who the Arkham Knight was (at least to fans of the Batman comics and the Cartoon series). This time, we get a more open world experience, but once again, Gotham has been evacuated, so all we get on the street is criminals, which is probably good, because the Batmobile just mows down everything in it's path lol. Still, being able to interact with common citizens would have been nice. Spider-Man does it all the time, so I'm sure Batman could manage too. This game should be a good 9/10 but I must deduct one point for the sheer amount of frustration this game can make you feel. So my final rating is 8/10 or 4 stars on here. Actually, no. I add one more point because the gameplay was very smooth on the PS4. I also played this on the PC and got a very laggy experience. So, my final score is 9/10 and since you cannot give half stars here, I give this game five stars ;-)
