you can get a make up brush cleaner on amazon, https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B079L3T8RP/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - i have one of these and they are quite effective, although they dont 100% dry the brush, but they do a good job, the other thing that is important is that when drying you hang them upside down, ie bristles at the bottom, you can get make up brush drying racks off amazon too, this stop any water from getting between the bristles and the shaft of the brush were they join so to stop the glue that helps hold the bristles in from coming loose. - hope this helps

I'm not sure they were a Christmas gift maybe you would be better to contact the supplier not people who have bought them?
