So what is a bullet journal? It’s a planner, to-do list and diary that will help you get your life together! This fun, practical guide shows you how to start and keep a bullet journal: a single notebook in which you write down all the things that you want to remember, or need to do, or you’ve already done – from every aspect of your life: work, home, relationships and hobbies. With colourful illustrations and easy tips to get you started, early adopter Rachel Wilkerson Miller explains how to make a bullet journal work for you – whether you want to create something simple or elaborate. Ideas for content include: - Lists of your to-dos and to-don’ts - Symbols that will make your lists efficient and effective - Calendars to plan your day, week, month or year - Trackers for your habits and goals (think health, money, travel) - Stationery such as washi tape, book darts and more! The phenomenon that is bullet journaling has led to thousands of journalers sharing their work on Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook. In How to Bullet Plan , Buzzfeed editor Rachel Wilkerson Miller tells you everything you need to know to start your own. Review: A comprehensive easy to read book on Bullet Journaling - I bought copies for grandchildren and one for myself. The youngest is 11 yo and felt that the book would be too substantial, so I bought a different book written for boys of his age. This book does give lots of ideas how to creatively bullet journal, and sone of the examples look like works of art. I'm not sure that I shall feel motivated to draw and colour my own journal simply because of the time required. But the book does provide all the information required for a layout of a good practical 'life organiser'. Having skimmed the book I concluded that I need to supplement it with information best suited to men, so I printed 4 x QR codes of links to YouTube videos that were specifically suited to men, including Ryder Caroll who first introduced the world to Bullet Journalling. This book is definitely a must have book for anyone 15yo and above. However, age doesn't define it's usefulness. People who love books and enjoy reading will appreciate this one. When I bought this book as Christmas gifts I knew that some of my grandchildren might not start bullet journaling at this time, but I'm hopeful that with maturity they will become more reflectful and will turn to this book to help them discover and map their life aspirations and goals. I believe it's important to give ourselves and others the opportunities and tools to discover and develop personal potential. I will therefore always give books to everyone and anyone that will open their minds, and empower them to achieve their personal potential. At 74 I am aware of the brevity of life and of the importance of the productive use of my time. This book inspires, motivates, and provides a structure for personal reflection, goal setting, and bringing order to daily life. Journaling is not keeping a 'diary', where you feel guilty for many blank pages where no entries were made. A Bullet Journal is so much more, and easier to maintain as a daily habit, and this book explains clearly the benefits of Bullet Journaling and how to go about it. Review: For me the best how to's book for newbies wanting to begin bullet journallingl - Amazing fabulous book, comical and serious. The author explains the reasoning behind all the spreads/sections, shows several ways of designing your spreads and the pros & cons of these. My only reason for the 4 rather than 5 🌟 review, is because of my only bug bear with the book. Which is ... the book fabulously covers every kind of spread, and shows pictures & points for these. BUT nowhere does it tell you whether you put the trackers, or for example books to read or vacation plans in the front between your monthly/weekly/daily spreads. Or start at the back with these. I'm sure this probably isn't a massive thing. But as a newbie first timer to dot journalling, I had no clue. I felt it would be annoying to have it part way through and then find later on that ends up being in the middle of a week (when you get to that page), then I thought it might be equally annoying to have a random list at the end of a month spread before the first weeks spread ........ yes I'm just that fussy unfortunately. So I'm planning to start spreads at the back for anything that's isn't my future spread (year) monthly spread & weekly spread. But that aside the detail and different ideas for the same spread and the reasoning to the spreads are fabulous!!

Down to earth
I really loved this book! It’s really well written, no non sense, with super easy to follow and inspiring ideas for bullet journaling. The Author writes in a very friendly, agile and unpretentious way, which made me devour the book in just few hours in one night. I could start applying the suggested ways of bullet journaling right away. I must confess that I had a go to other books, tools, formats of bullet journaling and I just found it disappointing and disenchanting, but thanks to this practical and great book I’ve given it another try, makes sense and best of all, it’s really helping me to gain control of my life...which is the ultimate goal of a bullet journal: a tool for self improvement in many areas of our lives.

Entertaining as well as incredibly useful - Brilliant!
Fantastic book. Brilliant guide to bullet journaling for beginners - beautifully illustrated with very useful photos. Really easy to read and brilliantly written - it is very amusing! There aren't many 'instructional' books that have me laughing out loud on the train, but this one did!

Nice and easy to follow
Brilliant book! It was nice and easy to follow. I've tried other books and watched you tube videos, but I finally 'got it' with this book! Lots of info on the layout to set your journal up and detailed information on items to use such as pens, book darts ect. A great book for people new to bullet journalling, you will want to start right away!

OK but lots of unanswered questions
I read the reviews of lots of bujo books including Ryder's and thought this one sounded most balanced. On first reading it seemed a good choice, I had a good idea of the different pages that are needed and what to use them for. But towards the end it does decend into pretty spreads and reviews of pens and notebooks. I took a long time to get started trying to make everything look good, but once I was into it I couldn't figure out what to write where. I have well over 100 tasks that need to be done, am I supposed to rewrite everything I don't get done each day? Or week? I bought Ryder's book to find the answers and didn't get them there either. What I needed was in the short and free video on Ryder's website so look there first!

Fun and full of info.
This is a really easy to follow guide on how to bullet journal. Theres tips on page layouts and the sort of things to include. It's a nice simple guide perfect for anyone starting out. I liked that the pages weren't too elaborate so could be copied if wanted. This has given me lots of ideas for my own journal.

Bullet Plan
Rachel covers everything from planning, ideas to get started and examples to get started. A great read and a little humour along the way. I'd highly recommend.

Very Practical
It is extremely practical and detailed book with examples for almost all journaling situations. It is amazing to know the extent, to which a bullet journal can grow

Además me vino arrugado.

Helpful for a newbie journalist
I like the layout of the book, and makes it easy to find what I have questions about. Not unhappy with this. :)

Semplice e carino
Un libro sul how-to, un po’ troppo generico, ma not bad. Mi aspettavo più consigli pratici e più esempi, però alla fine si legge bene

Almost exactly same as Dot Journaling: a Practical Guide. Waste of Money.
Seems to be virtually a rewrite of Dot Journaling: a Practical Guide. Extremely disappointed. I think It may have slightly more info than the original, so I don't wan't to return this one, but it's too late to return Dot Journaling. I just hope others don't make the same stupid mistake I did, (although there didn't seem to be any indication that they were the same).
