I was about to throw my 14 year old Kindle 3 away as it would no longer charge and I assumed that was that. However before doing so I searched the internet to see if anything could be done and discovered that you can actually change the battery, I examined my Kindle to see that the back plate could indeed be removed but not by anything in my toolbox. After a quick search I found these ACENIX 3 piece plastic pry tools recommended for the task. I purchased a set from Amazon which arrived the next day and after a bit of prodding and leverage I removed the back plate with no damage to the device, replaced the battery and now my 14 year old kindle is as good as new.

I used the tools to open my laptop and they worked fine.

I bought these to help with a PC build as y digits are a bit thick and getting to the GPU release mechanism on a 3080Ti was simply a nightmare. However, since that brief use case, I have used these to pry open loads of things, and they've become a bit of a go-to tool for general shenanigans.They are much more useful than I thought they would be, my only negativity is that the sharpest point on the curved hook rounded quickly, so lost a small degree in sturdiness for me, but still happy overall.

Arrived quickly and in a neat little zip sealed plastic case. Three plastic tools are contained, each dual-tipped with a variety of different flat, pointy and hooked ends.I think these are primarily designed for phones, but I used this on an Asus Transformer T100A netbook, with a dodgy battery issue. It worked perfectly to open the case quickly and easily and with some care I eased the case apart without breaking any of the internal clips.The plastic did start to shave off a bit on the tip of the tool I used, because the inside of the case had a sharp edge. However, not a lot and not an issue given the price and the fact I dont expect to need to use these very often.All in all, really pleased. Cheap and did the job with no drama.

These looked really good but the first time tried them two of the tools snapped, seemed to be brittle or I may have applied to much pressure! They are now at the bottom of a bits and pieces drawer with all the other junk that will never see the light of day in my lifetime!

they are really good quality, i was hoping that they would come in a box rather than a plastic bag.
