Q: Will it give atrong hold for 4 to 5 inch long hair? Better than osis messup?

I find it separates the hair making it look thicker and manageable as my hair is fine and short. It isn't sticky but my hairstyle is spiky so it works, I use hair spray after putting it on and it works well.

Q: Is this like vaseline type consistency? Im trying to replace an osis pot like this which gave my ends a lot of shine but wasnt stiff or sticky.

It is a little bit gummy, but with fibre mixed in. It will create a build up which will need to be constantly brushed out of the hair. I use it to help thicken my hair. In my experience, it won't create a shine.
