Buy in California.
I love these candies but buy them in California. Mine and apparently others, according to the reviews, were damaged but what looked like heat. A quarter were thrown out.

Didn't travel well from America
We have purchased See's chocolates whilst in California and have never been disappointed. As we aren't travelling at the moment I wanted to surprise my husband with a memory of the past but sadly they looked terrible when opening them. The taste wasn't awful when trying them but the look is certainly not great, not worth spending £70 that is for sure.

Very expensive, but knew that when ordered, and well received by recipient. Order arrived in good time tho' E.T.A. gave concern if it would be in time but all O.K.

Do not buy!
The chocolates arrived completely glued together. They are clearly very old as they are almost white and rock hard. The box is also incomplete as some chocolates are missing. Save your money!
