A hardy and novel belt clip
I eats given the quad lock bike mount as a present and it worked so well I invested in the running armband and the belt clip. If you can face being one of those dorks with their phone on a belt mounted holder (I can) it works very, very well. The quad lock system holds the phone in place and allows for either a portrait or landscape orientation. The clip is easy enough to attach to a belt and to remove at the end of the day and it stays in place whilst you're walking around. As a side note the case for the phone (not supplied with this clip) is excellent as well - does a good job of protecting the phone and the poncho that comes with it provides excellent waterproof protection. If you've got an iPhone and want a novel and well designed method of clipping your phone to your bike or your belt I'd recommend this system.

I have used several brands of belt phone holders. The Quad Lock is absolutely the most secure of any of them. The one draw back is there is a learning curve to learn how to put the phone on it. It is best accomplished by using two hands but that is a small price to pay to know my phone will never fall off or get brushed of by accident f. I use my iPhone as a bike cyclometer and use the bike adapter. I have TOTAL confidence that nothing will cause my phone to come off. Rock Solid!

I removed a star because the button so hard to press that the plastic bends and does not offer a full release. I got a little plastic off the tabs that lock in the phone and then help greatly. The other problem is that it JABS me in my side a situation I just resolved by installing upside down. Coincidentally making it 2-3 times easier to operate. (Still tricky in vertical mode) My recent order was the v2 model that can be removed from clip while on your belt so no worries about getting the near useless v1 model.

I was excited to find Annex created a belt clip for their popular quadlock system. I use the quadlock on my bike and it makes for easy mounting and dismounting of my phone. I was hoping this belt clip would provide the same ease of use...however, I was mistaken. The design of this belt clip is such that when your belt fills the gap between the clip's retention, the release tab CANNOT be pressed back and opened. The design intent was to prevent the phone from mistakenly falling out, which is great, but it also prevents you from removing the phone when on your belt. It furthermore prevents you from attaching the phone to the clip when it's already on your belt. So when can you attach your phone to the clip? Only when the clip is off your belt and in your hands. In other words, you can neither attach nor detach the phone when this clip is on your belt; making it useless for most people. In order to access my phone, I have to remove the entire clip/phone assembly, which is extremely clumsy/clunky. Talking on the phone with the belt clip attached is awkward. So sad, I was hoping this would be as awesome as their bike mount.
