Is this the original size? 2 1/2 inches, or the smaller one - 2 inches? I don't see anything specifying which one it is?

This tool is 2 1/2 inches wide by approximately 8 1/2 inches long from tip point to flat end. This tool had been a great help to me I hope you enjoy it also.

has the label being stuck on the instructions been resolved? i don't want to order and have to return.

I ordered one of these a couple months ago. Mine had a label on it, but it was extremely easy to remove and it left no goop on the tool. Perhaps they are using a different type of label now.

How do you modify the instructions when using 3" binding instead of 2 1/2"?

As the binding is folded in half it makes no difference. It can be wider or narrower. I have tried both. The Fat Quarter Shop has a really good video on YouTube on how to use the binding tool. I would recommend watching it. The binding tool is brilliant. I wouldn’t be without mine.

what is the difference between the normal and mini ruler ?

The normal binding tool is 2.5" x 8.5". The mini binding tool is 2" x 5".
