Color Wheel View Catcher, Multi Color, 1 Pack

At first I had my doubts as the gadget is really small, but actually it proved invaluable in getting the right perspective for my paintings. I work from photos a lot as I'm not yet brave enough to work en plein air ,and the camera often skews perspective. With the view catcher I can just do a quick sketch onto a watercolour pad at the location, take a photo and finish the artwork at home. It helps me to produce faithful representations of the scenes. The little hole in the centre is also really useful for getting the tonal values right.

Multifunctional! The cut out holes let's u check values and the markings let u set ur pic size!And the product fits in my bag easily. It's very firm plastic so it won't break, and you also get a printed sheet with hints and tips on how to use. I certainly found it helpful.It's a mid tone grey colour, so makes it easier to pick ur values.

For me a really useful little tool. If you think you would like it, you will. If you think what do I need that for, you won't.Works for me.

Nice little gadget. I haven't used it yet but it is well designed and compact so easy to take with you when painting or drawing outdoors. You can create any format with it and I also like the hole that allows you to isolate a colour if need be.

This is an invaluable help when you are starting off learning how to paint. What's great is that there are markings on either side, so you can adjust the scaled down window to suit the size of canvas you are working on.Simple, effective, portable little tool.

Really pleased with this purchase ! I use it all the time now when starting a drawing or painting.Easy to frame what you want and set it by eye to the size of your pad or use the measurements on the front and back of the viewcatcher .Better than pieces of card, I showed it to a fellow artist who sent for one.I did see it on other sites at £15 which was a rip off really.

This is a fantastic view catcher. It is adjustable so that you can make your view the same shape as your paper. It has paper sizes marked so it is very easy to use.

It is so well made . Worth the money.

This tool is very useful when you're outdoors and want to frame the landscape in order to paint it. It is easy to use and very portable. The only thing I can complain is that it didn't arrive with the original packaging and I really wanted to read the information written on it. Anyway, the product is fantastic.
