A true classic
Lovely way to make sausages

Vege sausage mix.
I think this is a good mix, very tasty, for sausage or sausage rolls etc. Vegetarian. I add a little finely chopped onion, season...everyone like. Keep it simple. I have bought before, added other extras but it does not need it, better as it is.

Pretty good stuff, but seems expensive
Though no longer a veggie, I don't much trust what goes into regular sausages so bought a bag of this with fond memories from my veggie days 20 years ago. The tase does seem a little different to what I remember sosmix being like, but it's still pretty goo, especially with some onions and tomatoes added. We make saisage rolls with it and I find that one third of a bag goes with one regular block of jus roll pastry, making 16 small sausage rolls approx 2 - 2.5 inches long. That's about 48 from a pack, though I'm sure you could stretch the bag to a total of four lots if you added stuff to the mix. Still, that seems pretty expensive for what used to be a cheap food.

Needs flavours added
I bought this and tried it without adding flavours it was bland and had no taste at all. Second time added onions, garlic, seasoning and Tom purée. Result, delicious. Soft consistency absorbs huge amounts of water. Expensive but I would repurchase.

Veggie sausage rolls (Easy)
I use this product because I eat no meat. All about weight lost. I found this product to be tasty and it makes good sausage rolls.Better than greggs.Simple to use just add water to the mix then a make some sausage rolls and freeze them for later use. I thinks it's an excellent product and it's easy to transport on a flight for your holidays or caravan.

It's like 1990s Sosmix, though less salty.
*edit: why is this product suddenly so expensive? It makes no sense and is unjustifiable. I wont buy it at this price and couldnt if i wanted to. Shameful disgraceful pricing. In the 90s this was the cheap affordable food of the poor*We love this stuff. I was missing the good old 1990s sosmix. Sosmix is completely different today. This is pretty much exactly the same as 90s sosmix and it's great, though i need to add some extra salt.If you have never tried it before or are new to veganism, it's not that much like sausage meat but it's good, made of rusk and soy. You just add water, it softens and you can then shape it and shallow fry it. It's nice with baked beans and mushrooms for breakfast.
