Q: Can anyone give me an update having had the mattress for a while? Is it still ok?

Bought this 7 zone mattress in January 21 and am now on the hunt for a replacement. I have suffered with back ache to some degree for many years. This mattress is now making it worse. It has sunk so much that its like sleeping on a slope. I'm an average size, fit mid 30s man getting the worst sleep of my life. Such a waste of money and now a waste to the planet

Q: Why is there a strong odour even after 2 days once unpacked!

Hi, , all foam mattress would have an odour once opened, this is not hazardous to health and once you have aired the mattress in a well ventilated room, the odour should eventually go. Hope this helps. Regards Joanne

I have two of these - a double and a king size. The double developed issues just after a year of use by a small 18 year old girl. It wasn't providing support on one side but this isn't an issue which is visible to the naked eye - you just roll towards the edge! I rang Silentnight who explained that Amazon have to deal with any warranty issues for the first 12 months but that as my issue had occurred after 12 months it was them who would deal with it. They explained how to log a warranty claim via their website including sending photos of the mattress, the base and proof of purchase. They came back less than 48 hours later to say that as the fault wasn't visible then rather than mess us about they would immediately swap it for a replacement and take away the old one (or we could sell/donate/dispose of the old one of we wished). I can't fault their customer service in response to us.
