New unit for newer model of Saeco espresso machine
Brew unit shipped is exactly as advertised. It works with the newer generation of Saeco espresso machines. Unfortunately it will not fit the machine I have from 2014 so I will be returning it.But it gives me a very good concept of recent improvements to this manufacturer's line of product.

THE OUTLET IS REVERSIBLE! You can adjust to fit if it's backwards for your machine.
I put this in my machine and didn't notice at first that the brew group outlet was facing inside of the machine instead of out where my Saeco Xelsis tube went to the dispenser. It brewed all over the counter. Oops. I tinkered with it, and it's an easy thing to flip the orientation. Unscrew the grey piece on the top of the piston - there are two silver screws. Remove the grey circle and outlet - pull up. Feel just beside the piston and you will find two tabs on each side that hold the piston up. Depress those tabs and the piston will drop down so that you can remove it and turn it 180 degrees. Push it back up into the tabs, and then reinstall the grey circle. All fixed and you're good to brew!

It was the correct replacement
No issues with the replacement, it worked perfectly. I hope to get another 7 years out this use. My old was getting issues even after a total cleaning. Now it runs without any issues.

not working
As shown in a picture attached, this item is not working. The first a few tests worked but after a day or so totally non-functional anymore.In addition, the received item looks like a used part and it had no any merchandise package/info except a bubble wrap for shipping in a box.I am very disappointed Amazon that has degraded a pure junk pile from a new good seller. I am sure this is the last item I ordered from Amazon.

Works perfectly and makes my older machine brand new again
We have a Saeco Odea Go and we LOVE it. We've had it about 8 years and the brew group was starting to have glitches. We replaced it with this one and its like having a brand new coffee maker! Thank you so much!

Not correct part?
The item fits in my machine like I should. However, the top part of it has a nozzle that points in the wrong direction for my unit. I had put the correct model number into the search tool in Amazon. This is what I was offered. It simply is not the right part. Even if I was to unscrew it and turned it around as a suggested in one of the reviews, it would not be aligned properly.
