is this for men or women? Because i fear the description is wrong

I bought Coach (New York) as a women's fragrance. The description does refer to Coach for Men which is wrong. The Coach for Men bottle is black with black packaging, whereas Coach (New York) has pink packaging. Having said that, if you like a fragrance, what does it matter if it is described as for women or for men? You like what you like.
