I would double check the gap .
some customers say they are pre-gapped . I checked mine just to be sure . They are NOT perfectly gapped but they are close . I want mine perfect so I'm glad I checked . This is the second time I've used this plug in my 99 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9liter and the plugs gave me over 100,000 miles so they are a great plug and worth every penny .

Perfect on 01 ram 1500 5.2l
I know when my truck hesitates off the line that the plugs are worn and gap is too large to burn the sudden influx of fuel...i used to think it was skipping a tooth on the rear end of a bad u-joint until I went ahead and changed plugs as routine maintenance. I know I set it at .035 and it was at .045 when stumbling got bad. You can just close gap back to .035 and run the old plugs longer but copper plugs wear down in 20-30k miles but platinum plugs always ran like crap or pinged in my truck over the last 400k miles. I usually regap once after 15k and replace at 30k...running then too much longer and you'll burn up coils faster...by the way, the Hitachi coils off Amazon work awesome on the 5.2 Dodge...don't bother with anything else cause I've tried them all and they all suck. My OEM bosch coil lasted 220k, lifetime oreilly and AutoZone burnt up every 20k miles or less and I've had the Hitachi now for about 100k...the original is just really expensive but they tend to outlast the engine.

Great plugs.
Good plugs. They took the skip out of my engine. My 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 has run this well in years.
