Very good product, even comes with a small plastic warning sign. If like us your fence is slightly curved at the top (to help rain run off) then don't buy these. There is another version available by a different company that will sit around the curve. As these will not sit flush otherwise. However these are great for on top of flat fences or gates etc. We ended up buying both types and used this for on top of the gate.I doubt this would deter a human, because if they want to break in they will, whether your fence has a strip of plastic on the top or not but it stops pigeons and cats for sure and goes a great length to provide peace of mind and pseudo security / possible deterant. From the house you can't see these at all and whilst the spikes are hollow, these are very strong, they won't Maime an intruder (which is a good thing? Unless they steal the TV.) but it will make it uncomfortable to grip for any length of time.

It was easy to install with a few screws.

Although it kept some of the birds away, pigeons and other size birds still rest on them. It changes colour from brown to black due to the heat of the sun.

The tips could be sharper. Still, they more or less do the job and deter cats. One of the local cats still walks on them occasionally but it obviously feels uncomfortable and often gives up after a few steps.

Great value for money and sharper than i expected - you can't put your fingers on these.i fixed them to the horizontal bar on my fence with screws and the neighbours cat doesn't come into the garden any more.I only put a couple of screws in each strip and i do notice that they expand a bit on hot days, so they go from nice and flat to wavy, so use plenty of screws. 25mm will be fine,

Used on top of our wooden arbor swing, these do the job of keeping the birds from making a mess all over the seat.Numerous fixing holes make the positioning and secure fixing easy. All good. Only time will tell if they stand up to the elements.

Anti climatic fence wall spikes, have just installed the spikes to try and stop cats leaving their calling cards in my garden, have tried other things which work fir a while so hope these work much longer. Delivery good.

The picture of the box is correct but the photo of it installed on the fence is of a different product.These ones aren't hinged, so they will only attach easily to a completely flat surface - not a rounded surface like the top of a fence.
