Brilliant Dye
Best fabric dye I have ever tried. I recently colour stripped 2 navy blue, 3 seater settee covers & all assorted cushions, pouffe covers etc with Dylon pre dye. They were very faded & the Navy sucked all the light out of the room making it very dingy. The first loads of small items came out a lovely shade of pebble beige, but as the large covers came out patchy, I had to repeat the process several times and they ended up a much lighter beige. I decided the best option was to re-dye the smaller cushion covers & pouffe cover in teal to co-ordinate with other soft furnishings. This dye was perfect. Easy to use once you have printed off the instructions from the RIT website & sorted out the American measurements (cups!). The colour came out exactly as I had hoped, & I now have mix & match covers for my settee ! I will definitely use RIT liquid dye again, I understand it can be used on stripped wood too.

Very very good. I’m happy with the results
Very easy to use, great coverage. The upholstery has been in everyday-use for 11+ years and the seats were very discoloured so they a slightly lighter than the back but I couldn’t wish for better results. A few years ago I have dyed the cover with Dylon but results were rather disappointing. 1. They don’t have as many colours 2. It’s more expensive for the same load. I’m doing the last bit now and will post another picture later.

Dyed a little patchy on a Linen/Viscose blend shirt
Used the stove top method with no salt liquid dye. The shirt was a linen/viscose blend so I thought this RIT had a better chance of success than Dylon because of the Viscose content. The shirt was a cream colour and I used one bottle of dye. It has taken the colour well but there are a few patchy areas where you can see a tiny bit of the original cream colour but it looks like a trendy 'distressed' fabric now.. I will dye the garment one more time with another bottle of the same colour so that the faded areas are faded purple with no cream visible. Overall happy.

Juicy, lovely colour!
Wanted to try these dyes for ages... now I have 4 for starters. Not for dying clothes (but I am now seriously considering it.) but for use in mixed media art. Tried to get near primary colours but don't think I managed. It is harder than I thought. So bought Golden Yellow, Fuchsia & Royal Blue. Sadly the red I wanted was out of stock and I am too impatient! Will get some soon. (I got Teal simply coz I loved it.) Will take a bit of trial & error & time. Have only tried the teal so far and it is a gorgeous, intense colour! Can't wait to create, erm, experiment I mean! Delevery was excellent and early. Product is amazing value as it goes a long way. (This comment applies to each Rit colour I purchased).

Time consuming and colour not great
This dye needs another fixing solution and a lot 9f salt. 8f you want to use the washing machine rather than stirring up in a bowl, you have to go online to find the instructions I was disappointed with the colour, which wasn't teal, more a pale grren/blue. I used it to dye a linen jacket. Expensive, complex and messy to use. Won't buy again.

Works well and ability to dose adequatly is useful
I've dyed two white Ikea pillow cases used for my garden chairs and this product works well, I have put less product than recommended to have a light teal effect and it worked flawlessly. Great result. very happy and would buy from the same brand if need be.
