Acrylic 5" Heavy Base Plate Holder

I am compelled to write not because of the quality of the product, but because the plate holder that arrived damaged must have been damaged before it was packed: one of the feet was missing when I lifted the holder out of the box, and the broken piece of acrylic was nowhere to be found. Additionally, the holders were not well packed (I was lucky that the other was in good shape). The undamaged holder works well for a 12-inch ornamental plate of unremarkable weight ... but one of the reasons we all use Amazon is to save time. No time savings now, since I will have to repack the damaged product and return to a UPS drop-off location.

I ordered this to hold a relatively heavy decorative plate in my living room. I needed something that wouldn't easily tip over and the heavy base on this holder works well. The back is also high enough that the plate feels even more stable and isn't going to roll.This seems to be better quality than some of the other plastic ones I've seen in stores.It is also a bit more attractive than the picture shows- it doesn't look as sharp angled in my home as it does in the picture. But having said that, a more curved edge might be more attractive.The price is reasonable but I wish it had been a little less- but I could say that about everything. LOL!

Broke within the first couple days. Should have just picked one up from a cheap store like Ross or Walmart.

These are very substantial but low profile since they are clear. They are strong enough to support a large rock for display as well as a large photo. I would recommend them.

This is my second purchase of this item. It is excellent, versatile, unobtrusive and very functional. We want to display the item, not the stand as this is the answer.

Arrived broken. I returned for a refund.

I wanted to display a fine china platter and didn't want the stand to detract from the china pattern. This stand is sturdy and well shaped enough for me to feel secure about my platter's safety, and clear enough to be mostly unnoticeable — especially behind the glass doors of a china cupboard. I bought a second one for an antique pewter plate.

I ordered this through a third party on amazon (US Acrylic), and it arrived quickly and was well packaged, so none were broken. Other than that, what can I say - it is a piece of clear plastic. I use it to display bowls and platters that I turned myself. I like it because it is minimalist and unobtrusive.
