One of the best resources I have bought for childminding under 5's ....
I bought these for my childminded children as they love playing with safe small toys. One of the children is nearly two and loves animals so she likes to pick up an animal and make the noise, so there has been lots of neighing and baaing going on. The children also use them for colour recognition along with some bowls I bought at the same time, size ordering and putting the animals into different families. We have also used them with playdough, shaving foam and for water play. Lots of fun, easy to wash, very sturdy and not to small for little children.

Fantastic learning resource!
I cannot praise this item highly enough. Bought as an alternative Easter gift for my 2 year old son, who has a thirst for knowledge and I like to encourage this fully. From these little coloured animals he has learned primary colours, size, animal sounds, matching/sorting skills and now knows the names of adult animals and baby animals. I recommend teaming these animals with the coloured sorting bowls you can buy. My son plays with these daily and loves them. Better value than the 'compare bears' in the learning resources range as you get more figures and also feel there is more scope for learning with these. Buy them, you will not regret it!

Good but colours not clear enough
Like the idea of this and the animal figures are v nice. I bought the sorting plates to go with these, as a colour sorting activity. Only issue is that some of the colours are not quite distinct enough from eachother. So when trying to teach a 2 year old it can get a bit challenging with the red/orange and the blue/purple - they don’t exactly match the sorting plates and they are sharply different enough to make it clear for a toddler.

Love these and better value than the bears!
My 3.5 year old loves these and so do I as they are helping her with her maths skills such as counting, sorting and pattern recognition. She has hours of fun with them. Highly recommend. We bought the sorting bowls as well and would definitely suggest buying the two together.

Great activity toys
These are a good size and have so many different uses - size, colour and amounts for learning games.

Great for children to learn about animal sorting
Bought these for my son when he turned 2. Great for children to learn about animal sorting, colour sorting (especially differentiating between similar colours like the reds and oranges!), sizes (as each type of animal comes in different sizes), and counting. Also bought the sorting bowls with them and my son (who is about to turn 3) still brings this toy out to play with. Highly recommend!

3 Missing Ducks
The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because our tub was missing 3 ducks. Otherwise, the product is absolutely fantastic. My 20 month old hasn't chosen to play with anything else since it arrived. I purchased them with the coloured sorting bowls and she loves sorting, categorising and just general imaginative play with them.
