Using the Sleepyhead, you can safely put the newborn baby down anywhere. This Deluxe model features a fully removable cover, which means that one can alter the look of the pod by changing the cover. All fibre compositions are designed to create an optimal micro climate. A waterproof, yet breathable, mattress cover protects the mattress pad from absorbing liquids. The washable cover protects the filling materials for greater longevity. The fillings are flame-retardant and conforms e.g. with the UK standard BS 5852 for resistance of ignition of cushions and duvets. The outer satin-weave cotton shell, which will be in contact with your baby's skin, is not FR-treated. The Sleepyhead is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified, which means that all materials are tested for and free from harmful substances. I was recommended this and after being so sleep deprived I finally ...
I must admit I never wrote reviews on amazon, but I finally caved in and baught this for my 4 month old son. As a newborn and up to four months he was sleeping through the night, then suddenly he started the 4 month sleep regression, and DS was waking up every two hours. I tried everything from changing routine, to weaning him. I was recommended this and after being so sleep deprived I finally caved in and spent the fortune. The first night I put my DS in this he slept from 8pm-3am woke up for one feed and settled back to sleep until 7am. I was amazed, my son woke up once. Ever since buying this he has had great night sleeps. He will wake up for only one feed and go straight back to sleep, sometimes even sleep through. We are now investing in the bigger virsion and getting ready to have it so we can swap as soon as he grows out of this one. So not only helpful for newborns but definately for the 4/5 month sleep regression phase too.

Brilliant product.
Brilliant product. Our new baby wouldn't sleep in crib. Bought this at 1 week old and straight away started sleeping for 4 hours. Now 5 months old and sleeps right through peacefully 8-10 hours a night. Have tried not using it some nights and get a very restless baby. Only issue would be that spare covers are very pricey. Expensive but worth it for a sleeping baby. Highly recommend.

Helped my baby sleep in his crib, highly recommended
This was invaluable for getting my Newborn to sleep in his crib, I don't know what I'd have done without it. Before we got it, he would only sleep in my arms. We stopped using it once he was about 3.5 months as he seemed to be getting a bit too long for it, but it had done its job at that stage. Can't recommend it enough.

I would not have been without the sleepyhead for my baby, it’s one of the first things I recommend new parents purchase. Easy to use, I placed a clean cot sheet over the sleepyhead to avoid purchasing extra covers and it can be carried about the house as required

Very good.
Used everyday since baby was born. Has given me peace of mind that he's not rolled over. At 4 months he likes putting his leg over the side. So cute.

Good product. Wish i had from the start. Although will not last no where near 8 months and that's with me having a baby on the smaller side!
