Fun party game
So this pinata is expensive for what it is. Its cardboard and plastic wings with paper crepe decoration. You could make it yourself for pennies if you were so inclined. If you haven’t got the time for that and are surfing amazon buying up party supplies 2 days before the big day then this may be for you.It is a nice bit of entertainment that all the kids can get involved in together. You need to buy a stick seperately though. The pinata itself is well made and looks great. Very sturdy. Almost too much so. The kids had trouble getting into it in its native mode. However you can put it into easy mode by shoving your finger into the paper covered hole in the bottom. This makes it easier for them to smack the sweets out.Its so sturdy that we kept it for a few parties and have reused it a few times. The only thing that suffered was the plastic wings which came off and could be a bit dangerous as they are quite thick plastic and can form sharp angles where it tears off.So yes expensive but if you can afford it, its not bad.

Too sturdy! , needs to be weakened with scissors.
Toooooo sturdy!I was worried that this would be too flimsy... In the end, this bee sustained mortal injuries only after it was placed on the floor and beaten with a wooden rounders bat, repeatedly. This was after three sessions of the kids at the party hitting it over the course of an hour.Id advise intervening to snip a few bits of tape every few hits to speed up the gift showers.Rather it be strong like this than flimsy. Gave us a laugh at how robust it was, so happy despite its inner strength.

Plenty of fun
Bought this for an Easter party and was well worth the money. Good quality and was able to fit plenty of the sweets inside. The only thing is, if you are needing it for a specific date, I would order it well in advance. It was due to be delivered on the 1st April, but arrived on the 3rd April instead with no reason for the lateness.

Dangerous parts
To bring to your notice one of the wings was obviously broke when the children started to hit it .As the material is made of a plastic solid a part had broken leaving a sharp edge. Which unfortunately cut one of the children below the eye.Thankfully nothing serious, may you have a look at using a softer material for the wings ,this may hopefully in the future save on a nasty accident happening.RegardsJayne

Very sturdy and although it looked small, it held a lot of sweets!
This was so sturdy that we had to whack it really hard to break it.Also when we got it, it looked quite small but to be honest, the belly of the bee will hold a lot of sweets. It was perfect for my daughter's party

Sturdy and roomy, little hard to open
Bought this for a 7 year old party, was a bit squashed when it arrived with bent wings but I wasn't too bothered about this since it was about to be beaten. Loads of room to fill it with treats and the kids loved. One this I would says is that it is extremely hard to crack open and you have no chance with actual pinata sticks. I had to give the kids a metal baseball bat (which was a little scary) and it still took a long time, even with help from me :p
