Did the one job I bought it for
The box in which these drill bits are contained, is inadequate, but not infuriatingly so. I only wanted a tool to drill through some bathroom tiles and the one drill bit I used, fulfilled that purpose. It is better to have a drill that you can control at different speeds, but I think that's true of all work that entails using a hand machine. I don't know if there are better tools for this particular job, so without comparisons, these seem to be fine.

Good value and handy storage case
Useful sizes in a really handy case. Could do with two 6mm instead of one of the tiny ones. The majority of bathroom acessories need 6 or 7 mm holes for the plugs. Case keeps them organised as they easily get lost in a toolbag. Top tip with these drills. Start really slow, apply some pressure until you hear the drill bite in then speed up. If the drill is finding the material tough dip the drill end in some water. Then try again. Not recommended for porcelain tiles. Suitable for ceramics/soft travertines only. To be honest I bought them for the case but I'm a professional tiler and the drills are as good as more expensive ones.

Operating instructions would have helped!
Different packaging to that in the photo, and no instructions how to use these drills, but apart from that they work well. Do not use a hammer drill at all - or high speed power drill unless you can run it at very low speeds. Actually better to use a hand drill on ceramic tiles after marking where you want to drill the hole with masking tape. Stops the drill skidding and enables you to draw exactly where the hole should be.

Great for Bottles
These are brilliant for the price. I got these for drilling holes in glass Bottles and they work fine. Fill bottle with water and put top on and make a circle with plumber mait and fill with water. Start with the smallest to make a dimple and then change to a 6mm and drill through and then change to a 8mm to make hole bigger. You need to do them on low speed and take your time and not too much pressure, keep stopping and adding more water to the circle. Each bottle should take about 15/20 minutes to do.

Good for that special need
Had to drill through 1/2 inch, very hard ceramic, wall tiles where normal masonry drills would not make a dent. They did the job although 2 have now broken would think this would be due more to the fact I was working them hard. They do get hot during use so kept dipping them in water to keep cool.

Glass/Tile Drill Bit Set
These drill bits worked fine for me.. They went through the tiles with ease... The secret is to use your drill at the slowest speed and do not apply to much pressure when drilling through the tile/mirror.. I still use masking tape over the tile where I am going to drill as added protection in case the drill slips.

Good drill bits
Good drill bits, for best results have a constant spray of water on the bit to cool it down whilst drilling or you wont get anywere, and don,t move it around because they snap really easy.

Great bit set
I've always successfully used normal masonary bits when drilling into tiles, but with a newly tiled bathroom I wanted to get the right bits.I now wish I'd bought these years ago, it is much easier to drill into tiles with these than masonary bits. Take your time, drill slowly, don't apply to much pressure, and the clean hole will be through quickly anyway. I've already drilled quite a number with these now and they seem like they will last, are of good enough quality for DIY use, and a nice case to keep them in.Highly recommended.
