Bose ® 151 Environmental Speakers - White

Installed these in my garden which was really easy, I was slightly concerned with the length of speaker cable i had to use so up sized it and they work a treat! Great crisp sound as you would expect from Bose speakers. They are waterproof but have covered them up now for the winter so shall see how they wear when it comes to next year.

The sound quality good, the build is good, and they are being used in the back garden

Firstly, there is no weatherproof connector at the rear of the speaker - therefore you must use silicone to make the copper wire connection weatherproof (if you don't do this after just one winter you will find the copper oxidises and then goes brittle), secondly - after 3 years one of the speakers stopped working, when I removed it to check there was so much water inside - obviously not weatherproof. Will never buy another Bose product again.

Bought this and as expected it does what I purchased it for. Ambient garden / patio sound. The sound is clear and crisp. On both amps I tried it (I have big bassy speakers which get dragged out for garden parties. ) But these throw sound out without the need for loundness so I can relax and wander around my large garden whilst being able to hear. These are not a party speaker and if you’re thinking of cranking up the bass for dance or metal they may not be the choice for you.

Look great but very very disappointed with the sound. Near to no bass at all! Surprising for Bose so have sent back. Back to the drawing board!

these speakers sound amazing in the garden and look really smart. from the picture i was expecting some small speakers but turned out to be quite big.Update one of the speakers has started to distort. It looks like water has for inside them and made the tweeter expand weird. Can’t believe it did not expect this for 250
