Kids were perfectly impressed. It’s absolutely sufficient for an 8 and 9 year old. My teenager even gave it some of her time! It doesn’t stand up to anyone leaning heavily on the side when they’re sitting in it - it just bends, so not massively sturdy but sturdy in that it holds the water, didn’t blow around, didn’t pop or burst or leak. It’s not massive but it feels really decently sized and for £20 on a really hot day, next day delivery... it was more than adequate.

Why did you choose this product over others?:This pool had mostly good reviews but I wish I'd have paid more attention to the negative ones as quite frankly this pool is rubbish!! I've managed to get a refund without having to return it. Functionality:Not functional, deflated and bulges.

Great little pool for the kids. Mine are aged 7 and 8. Perfect size for them. Quick to blow up and not too long to fill. Would recommend.

Bought this pool for my four year old daughter last year (2018) and it truly is great for the price. She used it all summer with plenty of room for splashing around and a friend in there! Plenty of compliments on it from my mum friends that had their kids over for outside play dates.However, it seemed to develop a small hole or a leak in the valve in the middle section after a couple of weeks - so the pool would ‘flag’ in the middle after a few hours. Left out overnight it would look like a trod-on jam tart foil casing! It came down so much we found a little frog had managed to get in it one time! It was a real pain to have to inflate it, time after time. When this happened, it was in the midst of the UK heatwave so getting a replacement pool anywhere would have been as rare as finding rocking horse doo-doo so I was stuck with the chore unfortunately.This year I’m having to look for a new paddling pool for the summer as the spaceship one has definitely taken its last flight in our garden. Shame, as it was a good size and a real bargain (others are so much more expensive but I’m put off of simply getting another of these incase we get the same issue!)

This is great. I have a 3 and 5 year old who love it as it's plenty big enough for them but not so big that it takes ages to fill up. It took about 20 minutes; I pumped up the bottom ring using a bicycle track pump then immediately got the hose going so by the time I had finished pumping up the sides and the top ring it was about half full and then a bit longer to full.It's had a good run this summer with three two week periods of being full and no pumping up in between. I use a tarpaulin over the top (tucked in underneath) when the kids have finished for the day which keeps the water reasonably fresh. It's easy to empty by pulling the plug then I put it away in the shed until the next sunny day. It'll need a good clean at the end of the summer but is keeping in good condition and feels sturdy.
