Superman/Batman: Apocalypse [DVD] [2010]

Superman/Batman Apocolypse starts with the crashing to earth of what is thought to be a meteor which Batman goes to investigate. . . .If you enjoyed Public Enemies you'll love this. The animation is good and flows well, you feel like you're watching a movie not a cartoon! The interaction between Batman (cynical as ever), Superman and Wonder Woman is spot on. You also get to see the Amazonians do battle with a familiar face that only a mother could love! The fight scenes are very good culminating in the final uber fight which took me by surprise to be honest, brilliantly done.There's a few extras on the disc which gives us an insight into just how much work goes into the production of these superhero animations. There's a teaser for All Star Superman too. In 5.1 Dolby it sounds great when hammering through any external speaker system, all the crashes, bangs, wallops, fire, laser beams and knuckle on bone are brought to life for me!My 14 year old lad loved all 75 mins of it too so definitely recommended to add to your collection.

As a 'Supes' fan, I really like this package. I've watched three of the movies and enjoyed them all. It's good and interesting to see the different interpretations art in the drawings. Adventures are great; good to see superman cut loose like this. But why is Wonder woman so .......modestly drawn; I would have preferred the 'Justice League' interpreatation of her, much more voluptuous! Oh well, all character are great; will continue to review and update this contribution.Good buy, enjoy!

Putting Superman and Batman together in a movie is pretty much a guarnatee of a good film and this one does not fail to please.This film has a great story - cross overs with other super heros (not telling who) and some kick arse super baddies . . . . and of course Batman is always smarter than anyone else.Aimed at younger viewers - for the price it is too good to pass up.The kids will love it.

Not as portrayed on the cover, which is a shame.Nevertheless a good series to have in the collection.As usual, no film jargon.Worth the money, very watchable. RJC.

La cosa che colpisce di più è che tanto la Warner fallisce con i blockbuster (se si esclude Wonder Woman e parzialmente Justice League) tanto fa centro con i film d'animazione..belle trame disegni buoni e film apprezzabili sia dai fans che dai fruitori occasionali..non sono però film per bambini e non sono in italiano quindi se non conoscete l'inglese perdete parte dell'esperienza
