Great songs from the first half of the band's career.
A really good double CD collection of songs by the Mavericks.This collection of songs comes from the first half of their career - and so there's nothing after c.2002.Given the Mavericks have released new music since then, this can hardly be called a 'best of'.Yet, there's plenty of great stuff to listen to! If you're a fan of the band, you'll thoroughly enjoy this double album.

This is a great double cd collection
Don't know how I missed following this incredible band after the release of 'Just wanna dance the night away', maybe I was to entrenched in early country and western music that I listened to in the late forties/ fifties, skiffle music, then rock and roll, and still do today. I watched a live performance of the mavericks on youtube singing 'Gentle on my mind' and was hooked. This is a great double cd collection, in the best quality cd box I've had to date. At £5'99p its a steal. Also purchased 'What a crying shame' 'The Collection' and 'In Time' If anybody knows if Gentle on my mind has been released on a cd, please let me know, I can't find it. Kind regards music lovers.

Mavericks collection
If you like the Mavericks then this is a fabulous coverage of their best music. If you don't know much about them then take the plunge and have a listen. This is excellent value showcasing their better known songs over the last few years. Raul Malo's hypnotic and clear voice gives them their unique sound and the Mexican influence on their music. The songs are very catchy and you will find yourself hunmming along to the music and tapping your feet.

A great collection of Mavericks songs. This 2 CD collection has all my favourite tunes from this group. From "Here comes the rain" " Blue moon" " Children" to the ever popular Dance the night away. This is great for anyone who likes the Mavericks, as a gift or for yourself.
