How do you get the stains out and how long should you leave to soak for ?

I only used this while traveling as a back up for washing odd bits and pieces. I used in the bath with warm water and left for about 15 minutes then rinsed two or three times with fresh water. Don’t know about stains, although if my memory serves me correctly it did washout some pasta sauce. I handy product to have when traveling.

Do you hand wash in sink with this?

yes its for hand washing its for taking on holiday .

I used non bio The travel wash, abroad for hand washing t shirts and underwear and it was fine, cleaned well and smelt nice. Sturdy tube for travel and not too big
