Is it definitely A3 paper and decent quality? And not glossy?

This is plain A3 paper 80gsm weight

Is this long grain? ie does it curl more easily long edge to long edge.

I quite sure it is. But the 2 packs I brought came in terrible condition (packaging ripped opn), there was no packing inside a box big enough for 10 packs of A3, luckily the still ok. This may not be the case for you, just thought I'd warn you.

Would this be nice enough for making envelopes?

I would suggest the paper is a bit too thin for envelopes
