To get started was reasonably easy following the book
I wanted to try a new hobby, so I brought this knitting kit. To get started was reasonably easy following the book, although once getting further in and hence more complicated some of the illustrations were hard to follow and I had to YouTube a few steps. You do get a good amount of wool, and the needles are decent for the money you pay, good kit for beginners and I'm still knitting now, so it helped to get me started.

I brought this kit as I wanted to learn the basic so i could help my mum who does knit but can't remember how to cast on. The needles Look wooden and are quite thick. The wool includes 2 small gray and small bright yellow balls not the most appealing colours. while the gave the most basic instruction it did not mention about the tension of the stitches or how to recover dropped stitches there seems either to much information which can be just as confusing or none at all. The wool is seems to catch on the needles and fry quite easily. I think more money was spent on the box than the contents. I guess it could be given as stocking filler but not the best kit to start with if you don't know some who is a good nitter.
