7-year-old loves all things Mars rovers. He already has several stationary mini rover cars/toys, but none that move. Every year since he was 5 he’s been asking for a remote controlled rover, but I could never find one. Until this one. He loves this thing so much and wakes up early to play with it. The tires are rubber and do not appear to leave any scuff marks on the floor. Also, the box came with nice quality info cards about rovers, which was an unexpected bonus. The cons: I will say the battery doesn’t seem to last very long, but he likes being the one responsible for charging it. Also, the solar panels break easily (he already broke one of the small ones). Lastly, my son knows a lot of details about the various rovers, and wishes this one was a more accurate copy of Zhurong, but overall he’s made peace with the design (lol) and loves it. Thanks for making this for space-loving kids!

This was the favorite Christmas gift for my 7 year old! Seems to be pretty durable too

Great little remote control rover. It’s a little bigger than the size of a big tissue box. Rolls smoothly over multiple surfaces. It can move in a variety of directions and has cool lights that light up. Only negative is the plastic parts are very fragile and I wish it came with a second battery.

Got this remote control Moon Rover for a Warhammer 40K Ash Crawler conversion project.. For that it does not disappoint. Size is perfect! (wheel size is about as tall as a new Space Marine’s height). Top comes off entirely, I intend to build alternate vehicle tops and mobile platforms in place so as to have different vehicle designs. Intended as stationary on the table top battlefield but the RC able makes it even more fun, though I have yet to try its performance and speed (will add to this review when tested). All in all a very cool vehicle. ‘For the Emperor!’

It is decent, a bit difficult to control. However the top light does not work at all. It was a gift so I am really bummed about that.

Our latest trip to the science Meseum ended up with subpar quality toys. After the kids were disappointed, we ordered this little rover to replace the defunct spaceship at the Meseum. This rover had been holding up well over the first week. Inside and outside it’s been very enjoyable for the kids

This RC is amazing. It's so cool looking, durable, has a rechargeable battery AND it can move sideways! It's actually pretty fast too. My son, who has taken a keen interest in rovers, loves it.
