This is true mala! Absolutely delicious snack, combined with the tingly sensation from the sichuan peppercorns. Quality is absolutely top notch! While four cans for $30 is a bit pricey, I absolutely love the taste! 5/5!

I've loved Sichuan peppers and spicy peanuts for years (I used to live in Asia with my family) and I'm so happy to have finally found my favorite brand! 50Hertz peanuts are the freshest ones i've eaten - crisp, delicious and full of numbing peppercorn flavor. Not too spicy but the umami builds with each bite -- they are addictive and hard to stop eating! Would be great with beer or tea. I find myself craving them and will buy more for myself and to give to friends. Definitely worth the price for a premium product. Thank you!!!

STOP! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE GARBAGE NUTS. First of all, if you jam enough into your mouth to actually get it to tingle, the taste will hit you and make you want to spit it out. It is almost as if they left the saponins in and let's be honest, WHY DO YOU NEED TO ADD SUCRALOSE (aka weedkiller aka Splenda) into the mix? This product was made by folks that do not understand how things work. They think they can add a bunch of garbage into a brine to soak the nuts into and then throw in enough Sichuan peppercorns to also give you the actual pepper when it does not live up to the hype. I just CLEARED the rating so hopefully a 0 stars rating will perform properly. Bottom line, you want thrills, then go make your own tingly nuts, leave these god-awful things for the rats and mice to eat... I also see absolutely NO reason whatsoever to include sucralose into the mix. I guess the garbage brine was so terrible tasting that they had to sweeten it up a bit just to make it palatable... I probably should have returned mine, but I took them to work for those with less taste buds then myself to consume... Plus I did not feel right about returning nuts just because I did not like them. They will have an odd bitter/ citrus taste when you chew on too many though. If you still buy these after knowing that they are absolute garbage, then you deserve what you get. Oh and I am not allowed to leave 0 stars it seems so we are back to 1...

Wow, just wow. These are seriously and dangerous addictive!! You get this perfect crunch from the peanuts, and then boom, the wild and tingly sensation kicks in from the Sichuan pepper. It’s not spicy, but it kind of dances on your tongue and lips in the coolest way! And how is EVERY single peanut so plump?? Did you guys hand pick every one of them?? 😂 These are the kind of snack you open just to try a few, and suddenly the can is half gone… Man. Every single time.

These nuts are something unlike anything else! There’s a hint of spice but it’s not the monotone burn of spicy nuts. Rather it’s a rich floral tingly sensation. It goes very well with a cold beer—or any drink really. Try it and you won’t regret it!
