This was really well made. Popped up and collapsed really easy and sturdy when assembled.The Dome effect gives the feeling of more room than square / rectangular travel crates. And the mesh sides allow for more air to flow through the crate - making it almost as breathable as a wire crate.The bottom cushion was so soft.. very neat and fitted.This would be good for traveling. Could use in the car/truck but would need to be on a flat surface.I got the Khaki and it was a nice tan color ( ordering a color called khaki is always a dice roll )

This purchase was absolutely the best choice. We are so happy with it in every way, it’s light weight but sturdy, puts together in less than 30 seconds. Material is durable.Key features we needed were 1) our dog has trouble stepping up with her back legs into anything that’s on legs or has a raised door lip, even with blankets she can now walk into this one as it’s completely flat with no step up. 2) we have a second door option if needed, the side opens up completely. So when you travel or when it’s hot you can have two sides open.This item is perfect. We add a blanket on top when it’s cold for more insulation.Plenty of space in a medium for our 13lb terrier. She is constantly rearranging her blankets like it’s an apartment and she’s redecorating.She now stretches out when she sleeps and I know this will help her sleep more comfortably and help her back legs keep from getting cramped. This was our problem in her last crate.Don’t let the $ put you off. The value is fantastic. It’s her everyday house and travel crate too for visiting family. There’s nothing I’d change about this product.

While we have a crate we use when away from home etc., we don’t really have room for that in our bedroom. Plus my husband wants our dogs to sleep with us. Our elderly dog is just fine loose at night, but the young pup is not to be trusted. We’ve used small hard plastic travel crates before, but as he got bigger I went looking for something a little bigger but that would not take up too much space. When I saw this I realized it might mitigate some of the noise of the plastic/metal crates that rattle and bang on the wall when he moves around. It really does, and the dome shape gives him a ton more space across the floor to spread out. I don’t really like how noisy the zipper is when I get him out in the morning while my husband sleeps but he says he has not noticed it. I plan to buy a better pad for the bottom. The one it comes with is kind of flimsy and keeps shedding fur bits when he digs - plus I am afraid it will fall apart in the wash. But otherwise this is very sturdy. I was a little worried about him scratching at the mesh and tearing it, but so far after a couple of months I see no damage at all from his pawing. I would definitely buy this again.

IF (and this is important!) your dog is already crate trained, this soft sided, rounded top kennel/crate is a wonderful alternative to bulky, awkward-to-move, heavy crates. The Petfit hut is lightweight, very airy with three mesh panels, and is easily foldable for travel..really easy!. We got the Small for our 10 pound shih-tzu mix, which gives her more than ample head room and she just loves it and we do, too. We use it indoors as her home crate because it is nifty looking and can be easily moved from bedroom to living room using its top handle. It is also perfect for car travel. It is sturdy, well made, and the zippers are strong and difficult for your pet to see and reach, should they be the exploring kind. Lucy highly recommends this Petsfit soft crate.

Overall, we really like the Petsfit soft side carrier. It's a great fit for our 10 pound dog. It is lightweight and easy to move from vehicle to vehicle. The bottom is also soft, however, so you have to support it if moving the carrier with your pet inside. The mesh and the zippers are holding up well. We use our own waterproof mat inside as the carrier itself is not waterproof. My only real complaint is that the carrier was supposed to come with a storage bag, but it was missing. We've tried contacting customer service via email, phone, and Facebook, but they seem to be non-existant, so that's very disappointing. The carrier quickly unzips and folds down for storage which is very convenient, but it would be much nicer if we had the storage bag to protect the carrier when it's not set up.

This is completely awesome! My pup loves it from the minute I opened it up. Quality is nice and it is the perfect size! Definitely recommend!

I am sure there are some dogs out there who will just get in the crate and not move around, but these are way too cheap and flimsy for most dogs. We bought three for our three medium size dogs, and we were shocked that on day 1 one of the dogs jumped in the crate and the top of the crate separated from the bottom, like the threads holding it together separated. This was from our dog who was very chill in the crate. So, at the beginning of a road trip, we were down one crate immediately, and fortunately we had a harness on the dog and could seatbelt her in. By day two, the other crate had holes all through it in the mesh material and the openings. This was not from any aggressive behavior from the dog. We had one crate that remained undamaged. I am not sure what we will do with it as it clearly isn’t reliable for your average dog. All 3 of ours are crate trained, so they are used to the crate. These crates are just not durable enough for medium to large dogs even when you buy the largest sizes. We should have used our metal crates, but we didn’t want to listen to the rattle as we drove. These are quiet, but cheaply made for the price we paid.

I purchased this dog carrier because I go back and forth between my two homes...my little Pom went right in and it was his home at first sight.It literally took me a minute to set up and is sturdy and the soft cushion inside is super cozy, although I ended up putting in his original little dog bed which fit perfectly.But what I love about it more, is that it's roomy and I can seatbelt it in for a safe ride in the car.I give this 5 plus stars and highly recommend I!
