I was wanting to make a routing table at home to fit into my bench. To cut a long story short, I bought this and have drilled to my needs. Net result is a custom router bed that attaches to my bench that worked out at a fraction of the cost of a pre-made one.It works also as described :-)

Bought for an ongoing project have triad it out works ok even though my puppy got the box & gave it a really good chew damaged one of the tightening screws & the rubber covering but still all ok

Fits makita but the bed of router base isn’t flat

Bought to accompany a 101748 and turned out to be very handy too! Great for the price. I now have a very versatile router with a few accessories for a very budget price. Has done everything I've needed it for so far! Very pleased with the whole set up. Oh and the price is spot on too!

The base of the Tilt Base was badly concaved by about 2mm. As I needed it to do a job I took it apart and flattened the steel "U" shaped base. When reassembled the steel base was ok but the plastic was very uneven, I had to lap the plastic base to get it flat and square to the unit.I was less than impressed with the condition of the Tilting Base when it arrived, having done a bit of metal bashing and corrective work it is now fully functional.This episode is a great shame as for the money, the Katsu is not a bad little machine. It has been let down by some poor manufacturing processes. If you buy this Tilting Base, check the flatness when it arrives.My Katsu came originally from Aim Tools who have a good after sales team, sadly I cannot say the same for Merry Tools who supplied this base. When I contacted them and explained what I had to do to make the base fit for purpose, they just said they were pleased I had solved the problem! But with Amazon you often do not know which supplier your goods have been ordered with until after the event, I should have tracked down Aim Tools.
